The Sabbath change, from Saturday to Sunday, had to happen because God prophesied it would. In order to make this change happen there has to be some tweaking of Scripture to get the people of God to fall for the change, which the Bible was tweaked and the people of God did fall for it. The early church never gathered on Sunday, it's a delusion.

Okay I have been through this too many times if you want to know search for yourself, But they did meet on Sunday. In fact they meet seven days a week. In fact many Jews were dependent on the church for their sustenance as they were fired from their jobs and kicked out of their homes and hunted by people like Saul.

Okay, What show me. I will show from scripture where there was a quarrel that certain peple were getting more food than others and Peter said we don't have time for this appoint men that are full of the Holy Ghost to look after it. One them was Stephen whom Saul/Paul held the coats of them that stoned him to death. Just getting to the point. Without a bunch of rabbit holes.

Ok the Sabbath is Saturday and always will be. Sunday church goers know this. You apparently don't. No one changed the 7th day to the 6th and the 6th to the 7th. Got it? I haven't seen a calendar yet that shows the days as Saturday, Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Sunday. Have you?
And where is your scripture that states [/QUOTE The early church never gathered on Sunday]? Otherwise, stop preaching another gospel.

First of all unless you understand the war over worship and how Satan desires to be worshiped you will never see the changes that were made to God Law and times and how they were made.

If you want an understanding of how the early church didn't gather on the first day of the week you will have study hard. If you go here,
Who Changed God's Law and scroll down until you come to "Didn't the early church gather on the first day of the week?" read through it and you will see how the subtle changes were made to change God's Law and times.

Why do you teach that the Sabbath must be the seventh day of the week?

Early Christians were forced from the temple and could not meet on the Sabbath day. They were forced to meet on the first day of the week. Acts 20:7 has the disciples meeting on the first day of the week.

Legalism is such an unbecoming thing. Show me where the fourth commandment is repeated in the NT.

By Acts 20 they were not welcome in the temple.

Read this very carefully and notice how the Gentiles begged Paul to teach them again the next Sabbath. Why wait a whole week? Keep in mind how this was years after the resurrection of Jesus. If the Sabbath was changed to the first day this would have been the perfect time for Paul to say something but he didn't. As a matter of fact almost the whole city came on Sabbath to hear the word of God. Non-Jews gathering on Sabbath? This made the religious Jews jealous and caused them to oppose Paul. These are some very important details so don't miss them. Also notice how these Sabbath keepers were encouraged by Paul to continue in the grace of God. God's grace does not do away with the Sabbath day.

Acts 13:42-45 So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul.

14But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia,
and went into (the synagogue) on (the sabbath day), and sat down.

Paul taught in synagogues on the Sabbath days.

15And after the reading of (the law) (and the prophets) the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them,
saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye (have any word of exhortation) for the people, (say on).

Paul read from the book of the law on sabbath, and people wanted him to continue.

42And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles
besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

Gentiles wanting to be taught and preched more.
if the Sabbath day been done away, here was Pauls perfect chance
to say i will preach tomorrow, becauce sunday is church day but no.

44And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
but Paul waited a whole week to preach next sabbath.

here again he preached 3 sabbaths, not everyday or first day week, was 20 years after Christ died..
2And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

2And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished,
31And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.
10And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
Pauls customs was to keep the Sabbath, just as it was Christ’s custom (Luke 4:16).

9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
The Greek word for rest is sabbatismos, which simply means “keeping of the Sabbath.”

“Let no man therefore (judge you) in meat, or in drink,
or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

The word judge here means “to pronounce an opinion concerning right and wrong”

Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body (is) of Christ.”

the word (is) was added, this verse should reads

let no one tell you right or wrong about things, but only the body of christ(the church)
27Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

7Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened.
For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven,
neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness;
but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

24And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat:
this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying,
This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

Jesus told us to keep Passover and the feast of unlevened bread,
no command given to keep good friday and easter sunrise

Did you know that where two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus he is in the midst and it does not matter what day they meet as the church in Acts met daily....get over your delusional Sabbath only day!

You can meet daily for fellowship and it's great if you can but you, your sons and daughters, your servants and working animals even those who don't belong to God can't obey the forth commandment daily.

Hey I found a group of Christ followers getting together on Sunday:

Matthew 28:1
[ He Is Risen ] Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

Luke 24
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. [SUP]10 [/SUP]It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles.

John 20:19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.

wonder if anyone told them they weren't allowed to assemble in honor of Christ's resurrection?
