Shucks it is two days until the 25th but what the heck, a few gifts here and there FREE for the taking, how can you lose?

But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
(Rom 5:15-18)

Gee, and these FREE GIFTS are found all under one TREE...

Hmm maybe a 'peppier' version, will brighten Salvation's cheer?

15But ·God's free gift [the gift] is not like Adam's ·sin [violation; transgression]. [For if] Many people died because of the ·sin [violation; transgression] of that one man. ·But the grace from God was much greater, since many people received God's gift of life [...how much more did God's grace and gift abound/multiply to the many] by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ [the death of the “one” saved the “many”; see v. 19; Isa 53:11].
16But the gift of God is different from ·Adam's [Lthe one man's] sin. After Adam sinned once, ·he was judged guilty [his judgment brought condemnation]. [But] God's free gift came after many ·sins [violations; transgressions], and it ·makes people right with God [brought justification].
17[For if] One man's ·sin [violation; transgression] caused death to ·rule over all people [reign; rule] because of that one man. How much more, then, will those people who ·accept [receive] ·God's full grace [the abundance of grace] and the great gift of ·being made right with him [righteousness] ·have true life and rule [or rule in the future life; reign/rule in life] through the one man, Jesus Christ. [Just as death “ruled” in Adam, so believers “rule” over death through Christ.]
18So as one ·sin of Adam [violation; trangression] brought ·the punishment of death [condemnation] to all people, so too one ·good act that Christ did [righteous act/deed] ·makes all people right with God, bringing them true life [brings justification of life to all people].
19[For just as...] One man disobeyed God, and many became sinners. ·In the same way, [...so also] one man obeyed God, and many will be made ·right [righteous]. (Expanded Bible)

Something that has been on my mind alot lately, is why sin is refured to as the offence. :)
We all always speak about the sins we set aside for Jesus, and the forgivness and grace we recieive because of Jesus's sacrifice.
But, I dont often see discussion on the offence recieived.
For it is such offence that leaves us injured, thus subject to the offences of sin.

For we are not only covered by grace for the sins we commit, but we are covered , healed by grace for the sins commited against us! :)
Faith and forgivness are essentual, but, trully, I have found grace to be trully a compassionate gift, in how we are healed by His stripes.

Thankyou Lord Jesus, for not just removing the offence of our own sin, but the offence of another's sin against us, healing the injury. :)

God bless

For most people a present is ONLY a present when it's wrapped in colourful paper.
