Lie # 1 found: [But most come here for a better life and are willing to work to do so, so why do we try to keep them from coming here? its not like they are asking for charity ]

Check your facts..........they are draining our coffers dry

Lie # 2 found: [ i just dont think this is what the founding fathers had in mind ]

Check your facts.........the Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution

Check other facts also: Many DO pay taxes.......rather, they have taxes withheld from their pay by their employers. As well, many would join the Military if they could, but to join the Military one must prove Citizenship and/or possess a Green Card.

Simple fact: Illegal immigration is illegal............No one in America advocates doing away with Legal Immigration.......only with stopping the flood of illegals flowing across our Southern Border........Our Schools, Hospitals, Court Systems are being severely damaged by this flood.

Law abiding illegals is a silly statement............if they were "law abiding," they wouldn't have broken our Laws by coming here illegally.........goodness.......

I think that they should be taught the pledge of allegiance and taught English. But, oh wait we don't require that of our own children.

The Chaplain that was my Supervisor when I was a Volunteer Protestant Chaplain in the Prison Ministry, even sent a suggestion to the California Governor, suggesting that all inmates must learn to speak, read, and write English before they qualify for parole. Of course the California Governor rejected the idea.

I'm glad I don't have to care about any such things.
The Bible or says I am a migrant worker here on earth. A temporary resident. An alien, living as a foreigner as long as I tread the earth. I will be hated for it, persecuted, and even deported to my home Land (martyred).

In the Kingdom where I hold my citizenship, everyone is an illegal immigrant.
None gained their citizenship through the Law, but all gained it by hiding in Christ.

Topics like these are why I watch only liberal news channels.
At least I know they're twisting the stories to meet their agenda.
If I was to watch conservative news, I would get too involved and distracted by the things of this world.

Leave politics for the postmillenialists and unbelievers.

Democracy is such a mighty tool of Satan, to make Christians feels responsible to control worldly affairs. What a huge distraction.

I recognize a difference between a liar and someone who is misinformed. However, in the latter case, it's rare to see someone actually admit they were misinformed as doing so grates against the ego. Since you had the character to do so, you get a LIKE. :)

I wouldnt go down that road, Flame is very firm in his belief and debating with him about it will only kindle the fire pun not intended.

Too, late I just spent about 3 weeks debating him, on another thread, and had to kick the dust from my feet, and walk away from it. Can NOT get him to post a Doctrinal Statement of Faith, Can NOT get him to support most of his statements with any BIBLE verse, and Showing him what the Bible says, seems to be a waste of time, other than it makes him accountable for the truth.

Maybe you should reconsider your opinion:

Romans 13:1-7 (NIV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

1 Peter 2:13-16 (NKJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme,
[SUP]14 [/SUP] or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men--
[SUP]16 [/SUP] as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.

Didn't say I was a rebel.
Quite the opposite.
I am just totally ambivalent.

I am not a patriot of any nation on this earth, because my citizenship is in Heaven.
Does this make me a rebel or submissive? In no way.
It just makes me not involved in worldly affairs in any more than I need to be.

people blame illegal alien for crime and lack of job for citizen.

I believe about job and criminal, is depend on people itself.

If the law is firm, business who hire illegal punish $ 100 thousand a piece, no body will hire them and people not come.

Some people are ignorant of history and do not appreciate the freedom and blessings they have in being American. Most coming here legally and illegally are looking to live in our wonderful country with good intention for themselves and their families. The problem is when you allow millions to enter your land without regard for the rule of law then you have millions of criminals and subversive anarchist entering your land also. To continue to allow this to take place will destroy America.

Millions live in America today with no desire to be American, as the numbers increase of people refusing to assimilate into our country, then America ceases to be a sovereign country. We were once known as the melting pot of peoples from all over the world assimilating into our country, now we are overrun by millions who demand entrance into our country merely to exploit our economic and sociological advantages. They have no desire to be American and so as these numbers increase we will cease to be America.

Just a thought.

I have heard what happens to illegal aliens and how a lot are treated. i also know that they are hard working willing to work for low pay and are happy just to be in america. I could have sworn this country was called the land of the free but maybe I was mistaken. Why is there such a problem allowing illegal aliens to live and work here and to be treated with the same kindness and fairness? Jesus loves them just as much as us right? i noticed how even in the bible there were ppl who were treated less than others like servants or slaves and i guess I figured since this is the 20th century we were past all that. i mean this country was founded on Christian values, i just dont think this is what the founding fathers had in mind
Because the U.S. is by far the most generous nation for taking in immigrants. We take in 4X more than the next country. They need to enter through the front door and not the backdoor.

A man cannot serve two masters.

Get your heads out of the gutter.

Who cares about who is crossing who's border?

Is our toil against flesh and blood?

Don't be choked by the worries of the world.

Do you really think that your vote is more powerful than God?
God is in control. Not your votes or opinions or "voice". This is not what we are called to, and not our responsibility.
Let these issues rest in the hands of God alone.
Invest your efforts in the Kingdom of God, not some temporary nation of man.
On the Last Day, you will find no reward in what political cause you backed.
Flee from this Satanic deception. It is a distraction to the cause of Christ.

the problem with "illegal" or "undocumented" aliens could be solved simply. anyone employing an illegal alien would be fined $10,000 and be required to pay them fully for all work done (at the going union rate.) to be sure that the employers would be caught, the $10,000 would be split between the treasury and a $5000 reward for anyone informing on the employer. the employer would also be required to pay for the workers return to their return to their native countries. could be a good way for some guatemalan family to come up with a healthy bankroll.

Or we should just let the heathens run their own world,
and let our faith remain in Christ, and not in legislature.

We are not of this world. Why do we continually pretend that it's destiny rests upon our shoulders?
Wasted thoughts and actions.

I posted a thread about this a while ago to show how some Christians are going cold.

The word of the Lord our God says to not let our own principles and philosophies come before His word.
And His word says that if a stranger ( alien illegal or not ) comes to your country to escape the problems happening in their country we as Christians or believers in God are to take them in and help them.

FlamingSpirit's right. The love of money is the root of all evil, and money itself is the tempting factor. Of course, we don't really have much choice but to live by the accord of currency because that's the bondage we're born into, but it's not part of the intrinsic human complexion, yet we're taught in schools for over 10 years how to work towards getting lots of it.

I can't remember the author of the quote, but he said ''The true business of people should be to go back to school and think about whatever they were thinking about before anyone told them to earn a living''. He's right.
