The only MUST I DO is in Acts 16:

Sirs, what MUST I DO to be saved?
Believe on the Lord Jesus [Christ]
and thou shalt be saved.

Someday someone will ask, "What has God done to save me?"
Then maybe He will get the Glory!!

He who believes has eternal life.

Belief in Jesus for eternal life.

That means He can guarantee eternal life, and if you have it, you can never lose it.

Good News:

If you have never truly accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, or if you are living in unrepentant sin, and you feel lost and trapped; Well, I am here to tell you that there is good news and that there is hope for you. For what must you truly believe to be saved according to the Bible? What must you believe to have that real relationship with Christ that brings love, peace, and true assurance of salvation? Well, please check out the following verses below.

What must you believe to be saved?

#1. Admit Your A Sinner:

Romans 3:10-12

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one."

Romans 3:23

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

2. Realize that there is a Judgment or Consequence of your Sin:

Hebrews 9:27

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

Revelation 20:12

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."

Revelation 21:8

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

Revelation 20:15

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Romans 6:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

#3. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior:

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day…"

John 3:16-17

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

Romans 5:8

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

1 Peter 2:24

"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."

Isaiah 53:5

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

2 Corinthians 5:21

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."

1 Corinthians 15:22

"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."

Romans 5:17-18

"For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life."

Ephesians 1:7

"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;"

Ephesians 2:8-9

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast."

#4. Call Upon the Name of the Lord:

Romans 10:13

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

#5. Repent of Your Sins:

Matthew 4:17

"Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Luke 13:3

"…Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

2 Peter 3:9

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

1 John 1:9

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

#6. Confess With Your Mouth the Lord Jesus Christ:

Romans 10:9

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

#7. Endure in Your Faith to the End:

Matthew 10:22

"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved."

invite Jesus into Your life brother. Trust His teaching.

And His teaching is Love the Lord with all you heart and love your neighbor like your self. No body can do it unless he invite Jesus like a branch abide to the tree.

Romans 10:9,10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

I was in and out of church for most of my life and I was thinking about this and asking myself Why? I came to the conclusion that I really had not understood what salvation was.

I returned to church about 4 years ago and I was praying to God saying Lord I am not good enough and I will never be good enough and in my thoughts He answered me and said Darlene you are right you are not good enough and you will never be good enough but that is why I sent my Son Jesus to die for you so that when you come to Him and confess your sins I no longer see the wrongs that you have committed but the perfect life of Jesus and His blood covers you. I said is it just that simple and He answered yes.

So I would say pray to God and ask Him to enter your heart, confess your sins and accept the gift of salvation that is offered to you. Then ask for the Holy Spirit to come into your heart and dwell there and as Jesus said to the prostitute go and sin no more. The only way that can be done is having the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Once we give ourselves to Jesus we are a new creation for the former things have passed away.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. That's it, though I would study the word believe and all that entails.

This video gives me goose bumps in a good way in the many times that I have watched it.

Praise, glory, honor, and power be unto the Lord Jesus Christ.

Six out of seven is very good. But Mat 10:22 is a prophetic message to Israel not to the church.

For the cause of Christ

Thanks for this... But, isn't it a bit more complicated than that ?

James says even the devils believe... so we know its not "simply believing"
And we know simply confessing isnt enough, for Jesus Himself said "Why do you call me Lord and do not the things that I say ?"

Totally agree, you MUST do a lot of things. QUIT SINNING !!!

[h=3]1 Corinthians 6:9 (AMP)[/h]
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality,

Repent, be baptized in Jesus, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Then you are born again.

Luke 13:3 - Repentance

Mark 16:16 - Baptism

Romans 8:9 - Holy Ghost

There are many more scriptures that validate and verify that you must do all three of these things to be born into the kingdom of God. Until you do them, you have not been born again.

God is a personal God who speaks to each of us separately, personally, man to man. We have all seen examples of people around us who know all scripture says, who are true to the legalistic word, yet not a thing in their life reflects the love of Christ. We see them here on CC, even. They would never work on Sabbath, but they would let people suffer without helping them so they didn't do any work.

Being saved means letting God work in us and being humble before His holiness. It includes truly listening to all God says and acting on that---God calls it faith. Through faith we are given grace.
