i'm not sure the author takes Ezekiel 28 in context (near the end of the article) -- is the king of Tyre always

you know how Alexander took Tyre? exactly as prophesied - they fled to a fortified island "in the heart of the seas" and Alexander scraped the city bear to build a bridge to it, fulfilling scriptural burden against the king of Tyre.
i think Ezekiel 28:1-10 is fulfilled already, against literal Tyre, but the remainder of the chapter speaks of a "tyrant" to come.

have you made up your mind whether "Havilah" refers to Saudi Arabia / Yemen etc. or to the North & South America continents?
or do you think Arabia & the Americas are the same place??
either way, it doesn't connect the U.S.A. to Gog/Magog, even if any of it were so.
and there are only 6 continents, not 7. Europe and Asia are the same land mass - even the same tectonic plate. if you want to divide "continents" by political/social/cultural borders than Eurasia should be about 5 "continents" all by itself (separating India, Europe, Russia, China and Arabia into cultural divisions).
if you want to count tectonic plates as "continents" there are 8 major plates, not 7.

Is this based on opinion? I referenced my historical sources and offered perspective. Your statements however objective you make them out to be, is simply an uneducated opinion without reference. so could you clearly and succinctly say what you think in biblical prophecy represents the USA?

from what i've read and been taught, Magog is almost universally accepted to represent Russia (at the least, the land north of the Black & Caspian seas), not the USA. all the other lands involved in the war described in Ezekiel 38 are present-day Arab countries; Saudi, Libya, Egypt, Iran (Persia), Lebanon, etc.
if you're trying to tell me that one of these is actually the USA i'm not seeing it; maybe you're not being clear.
the rest of what i posted yesterday; i was responding to the link in the facebook post you linked to -- which is about linking Proverbs 9:1 to seven continents of the world -- i totally reject that.
there are not seven continents. there are 6 major land masses on the globe, 8 tectonic plates, and more like 10-12 major socio-political areas in the world. the saying that there are 7 is a complete fabrication just for the sake of using the fancy number 7.
the other bit from the article - "dr. so-and-so has proved Havilah is the USA" - is simply heresay. you quoted it from an article that also just quotes it, and doesn't give a source from dr. so-and-so --- that is to say, if it's proven, it's not been shown to me; all that's been shown is that dr. so-and-so says so, and we haven't actually heard from dr. so-and-so, so i'm not going to just repeat or accept it as fact.
it also remains to be shown how the USA being Havilah has anything to do with the USA being in biblical prophecy. in Genesis, 1 Samuel and 1 Chronicles, Havilah is mentioned as an area where Amalekites lived. did the ancient Hebrews fight American Indians in the Pacific Northwest, and call them Amalekites? i don't think so. so that's probably a flawed premise too.
i hope that makes it more clear.

this isn't about you; it's about prophecy, and about the truth.
you have been a member here less than a month so maybe you don't know, but i have been here for a while and i have seen many users post plainly and clearly that they do not click links to outside pages; if you have something to say, many people reading the forum would prefer that you say it right here on the forum. a lot of people access the forum by cell phone, and there are logistical problems for them to open up links.
the language you use doesn't contain a lot of big words. what i meant by convoluted is that the link i read did not in any way clearly establish that the USA is represented in biblical prophecy at all, but it touches on several tangents without explaining how any of them were relevant to showing that the USA is represented in prophecy.
just say simply and clearly what part of prophecy you think refers to the USA? then we can stop misunderstanding each other and going off on tangents.

You repeatedly insist on your suggestion. Based on my training and experience I have learned that when a person insists, it becomes a matter of control as compensation for "fill in the blank here". Maybe I can edify you with "how to" not take it personally when you click and you're redirected to a link that provides pictures, other posts that may be relevant, offer more support and perspective.

Less than a month makes me less knowledgeable? Does this forum defer from any other forum where people post relevant links? As for access by cell phone it is my understanding that facebook on a phone is like a toaster at home. A common household item. This default app (with a dedicated allocation of memory) offers a speedy connection where cache is already saved and available vs. the internet forum where cache is repeatedly refreshed and thus takes longer and is more hazardous, taking into account the myriad of viruses that makes your computer device more vulnerable to attacks. I see that you are rationalizing or ration-a-lying as I like to call it, so that you further compensate for your lack of control.
