And now, Dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely,and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8
Negative and impure thoughts cross our minds on a daily basis. Social media and t.v. don't help either. Even christian friends jump on the bandwagon and post thoughts and ideas online that make us cringe. Instead of running away from connecting with people online because you've had enough, make it your goal to be a light in what can be very dark,negative atmosphere. Encourage good and right thinking. Comment,post, and share God's love with your friends as much as possible. For the next thirty days, why not plan to post,text or write at least one encouraging commment everyday? Post encouraging scripture; text a frienda note to make them smile; tweet your favorite quote; share sweet stories about your husband or wife and kids on blog. Before you grumble or complain about something on line, stop and fix your thoughts on what is true,right,and pure. Then see if your comment is still valid.
Father, help me not to run from online interaction but to see it as a mission field.Help me to be an encouragement to everyone i communicate with online. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
