Commandment #5 in the KJV is misstranslated

The Ten Commandments have been translated into multiple languages over time. Scripture is a collection of translations of biblical verses. Most of it is pretty straightforward but I believe Commandment 5 (five) was mistranslated. Or at least in the

Christian version. Commandment #5 in the KJV is as follows:

[5] Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy

In my view the Christian translation of Commandment five (5) should read:

[5] Remember the day of rest, to keep it holy

I thought you were going to cite the Hebrew and compare it to the Greek in the Septuagint. You just can't decide to change words arbitrarily, unless you are just a troll, fishing for an argument.

You first of all forgot one of the ten commandments, and separated the 2nd commandment making it two.

The not making an engraving image, for the purpose of worshipping it is all one commandment.
The commandment you left out was, Not commit adultery.

The not under the law scripture applies in context as we are not held to the sacrificial and punishments that came along with the law because our Lord Jesus became our sacrifice and took the punishment for us.

The moral values of the law do still apply, and they are to be written in our hearts.
Those moral values are knowing right from wrong. The law was our tutor, but now we should no longer be under that tutor because we should know now how to walk in light. And with the help of the Holy Spirit do that which is good, and do not let sin reign and control our lives again.

Ok, abide by or don't abide by the first five (5) but the following we should abide by because it is the "LAW"; religious or not it is the Law.

In Genesis Chapter 1 we are told that the Lord rested on the Seventh Day.

The Hebrew Word for seven is sh'vee-ee.

The Hebrew word Shabat, which is derived from the word for seven, means rest or cease.

The name Sabbath contains a reminder that the seventh day is spoken of.

While we are not under any legalistic compulsion to observe the Sabbath; if we elect to observe it it is still the seventh day; and still Shabat (Sabbath).
