Mercy and Grace
Everyone needs to have the grace and Mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. He gives his spirit to his people whom he chose and paid the price for. He will not fail to Save all he came for given him by the father. There is no other way. You are either chosen and born again by his spirit or you are in Darkness. Every thing else is vain. OH how people Hate the truth. May he bless you as ONLY he can do. Believe in Christ as the ONLY way. PS.......I seldom get into discussions about this is there is no profit in this. I can't change you or make you see or cause you to do anything. Only OUR LORD can do that.

"Oh that men would praise him for HIS goodness and wonderful works to the children of men". 4 times in Psalm 107..........Verses 8,15,21, and 31

And verse 2 of this chapter says "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hands of the enemy". He has redeemed me from the enemy and I say so. Praise God and Give him All the credit.

Only addressing the discussions matter, we should all realize that, in some doctrinal matters people have always had disagreements over, that they are not real issues, in that, if this were important, all would be damned, because not a one of us has 100% our theology right. I can't count the times I've seen angry bickering. I've been told I'm of the devil for things taught at Dallas Theological Seminary learned Protestant Christendom has even generally agreed upon, settled matters to many real scholars and faithful men of God, people on the web trying to force beliefs on others, even of cult origins long ago rebuked. I've seen all sorts of ego, hatred and anger over secondary doctrinal matters, people straining at a gnat and swallowing the camel of behaving in unChristian ways towards each other, raging in emotional, hateful rhetoric sometimes. if anybody just enjoys bickering, like some troll, or they need to force their beliefs on others, dares to threaten hell or slandering people as being Satanic, some of whom may have forgotten more theology than you know, you had really best turn off your computer and consider the issue of most basic of Christian doctrine, having some real degree of humility and love.

Mercy is us receiving what we don't deserve. Grace is us not receiving what we do deserve. I believe that without the mercy and grace of God we would all be lost. But by the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus, God bestows on us both His Grace and Mercy when He brings us into a relationship with Him. Does that make any sense? Or did it make sense in my mind before I wrote it?

I'm all in on the mercy and grace part but the seed of controversy is the chosen part. Sounds a lot like hard core Calvin.

If I brought in the chosen part I am sorry I didn't mean to do that. That is a whole other subject we need not discuss on God's Grace and Mercy bestowed upon us. Please forgive me.
