Give two Scriptures one from the Old the other from the New.
They should relate in some way such as fulfillment, parallel, contrasting etc.

I'll go first..

For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
(Isa 64:4)

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Revelation 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Num.6:24-27.
"The Lord bless and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
and give you peace."
So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.

Rev.14:1-2.
Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion,
and with Him 144,000,
Having His Father's name written on their foreheads.
4.
They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

Psalm 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Philippians 2:12-13
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Jeremiah 33:8-9

[SUP]8 [/SUP]And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

Mat_5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Lev_22:31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.

Lev_26:3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

Num_15:39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:

Deu_5:31 But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.

Deu_6:1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

Deu_7:11 Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.

Deu_11:22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;

Deu_19:9 If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:

Deu_28:13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

Neh_1:9 But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.

Psa_103:18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

Joh_14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Exo_34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

2Ki_23:3 And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.

2Ch_34:31 And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant which are written in this book.

Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

The Word of God said "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life."

The Word of God said "I am the bread of life" and "Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you."

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

This one is not always obvious to the observer. Paul understood that God had divorced the House of Israel (the lost ten tribes). Yet, scripture tells us both in OT and NT that God would make a "NEW COVENANT" with both the House of Israel and the House of Judah. (Reference Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Hebrew 8:6-13). However, God's Law forbid remarrying the same woman after divorcing her. Paul has understood the great mystery on how God could remarry (Make a New Covenant and she be the bride) those whom He had divorced. Through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ was the answer. Immanuel, God with us, God came to us and took upon Himself our sins that we may be renewed through His sacrifice that was foreshadowed in the Old Testament (the mystery) (Sin is breaking the law....1Jn_3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.) As believers of understanding what Christ did for us while we were yet still sinners, we too, must die to our old sinful natures. Rom_6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Col_2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Mystery solved!!!! God divorced the House of Israel (the now known as Gentiles who may or may not know they were once of the House of Israel) and He promised to bring her back into Covenant. He circumvented His own law of not remarrying her with the only exception that death of the first husband must take place. Then, He required her to also die (which is symbolized through Baptism, buried and raised to a newness of life.) And one most important factor.....one must be part of Israel...this is done by grafting in for those who are outside of being part of Israel....so that we are now all part of Israel, who is the bride of Christ.

Exo_12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Num_15:16 One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

Eph_2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Deu 24:1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
Deu 24:2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.
Deu 24:3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;
Deu 24:4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

Rom 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
Rom 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Deu 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
