I've noticed you have a Arab, Filipino, and Indian forum room, would it be possible to have a Messianic or Hebrew Forum room for those who wish to get into scriptural discussions about Torah, Tanak?
This way it doesn't come across that we are trying to push things on anyone else in the Bible Discussion Room. I hope that you would sincerely consider this.

Thank you,

ROEH

Actually, that isn't a bad idea. Altho we'd lose half of our posters......come to think about it, maybe that isn't a bad idea either. ;)

I desire this only for those who are jews who believe in Messiah (like myself) and Messianics, or whoever who believes in salvation as well as we are to keep the commandments, feasts, etc. to be able to study and discuss together all of the Word. To edify and sharpen each other without all the bickering and fighting. This would be a good situation that would benefit everyone. Amen?

Humility an action - humble yourself - probably then shouldn't ask for a seperate forum because you should be fine with what you have - that's humbly asking

Yeah...no offence but this website is called Christian chat. People of all beliefs are welcome here of course. But if we made a forum for Messianic Jews (who are not Christians) We would also have to make a Atheist or Muslim forum. which would really contradict the entire website

That is an excellent idea and has great merit.

Most Messianic Jews are Christians......

But if you don't like the semantics, we can come up with something different for us Christians who follow the Law.

That's the same to say, I should go into a church a be happy with what I have there, and if I say anything, then it will just pick a fight. So what is the answer? I have a congregation, so that others who believe the same have a place to fellowship together and there is no arguing and fighting. So this is humble, so as not to argue with others, and to be able to fellowship with like minded, I have requested this. Just like they have a Arab forum, Filipino Forum and Indian Forum. With a Hebrew forum we are able to get into discussions about the things we enjoy talking about. I've been on here a week and all I see is strife between those who follows YHVH's word similar to me, and those who don't. This is neither edifying nor peaceful. I've seen many who have complained about our posts. So to request this is a good answer for all and a loving solution.

Phil,

your statement is heartbreaking, and I feel you have shamed yourself.

I pray that others and myself will hear and feel you spread the love and compassion
that our Lord instills in those whom He calls,,,,

That sounds great! would like to add, if their answer is no, why not do studies anyway, stipulating that any who come to argue will not be entertained.

Not only is arguing counter productive, having to constantly state you rely on the grace of Messiah is time consuming. It's the love of Messiah that causes me to desire to obey all He teaches!

Careful study of the miracles He did brings understanding about the law, in that He repeatedly showed that we are to obey our Creator and not men, we are not to add to or take away any of His instructions.

No, Messianic Jews are jews. Otherwise they would just say they are Christians. And Paul actually told believers off for following Jewish laws
Romans 10:4
"Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes,"
Galatians 5:1-2
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing"
Galatians 5:13
"For you, brethren, have been called to liberty"

Most Messianic Jews have a Jewish heritage, follow the Law, yet still believe in Jesus as the Messiah.

Again, that's still not biblical is mostly a heritical teaching.

People who accept Jesus as their savior, yet continue to do the physical commands in the Bible is un-Biblical?

I beg to disagree. Most Messianic churches are filled with Gentiles who think that somehow they either can be saved by keeping the law, or are fascinated with the old rites and rituals which have been done away with.

I attended one for a year, and found this, and my Hebrew prof refused to let us go to one for our Hebrew report. An Orthodox synagogue, or shul, which I attended is radically different than a Messianic church. I challenge anyone to attend both, and come away with the idea that "most" are of Jewish heritage. We had one authentic Messianic Jew in the Messianic church I attended. Not even the "rabbi" was Jewish. He started as a Pentecostal, then a Lutheran, then decided to reach Jews with a Messianic Church.

If there really were Jewish people here who believed in Christ, my hope is that they would grow and learn about Christ fulfilling law, making it obsolete!

"In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away." Hebrews 8:13
