Im sorry everyone I know there are far to many of these out there but this is a rapture/Tribulation thread.
The Title says what I am dealing with, where is the hope. You see I have had many rapture dreams I have had tribulation dreams I have seen missiles raining down upon america I have seen demons let loose on the earth slaughtering people and I had a vision of being a bride in heaven.

And yet even with all of this you would think I would believe and I would have hope to finally go home, but because of my stubborness non of this has broken through to me. A year ago I spoke with ppl about the rapture, I was very excited everyday because I truly believed it could happen any day, and ppl told me how ppl have been saying this for ages and that he probably isnt going to come very soon thus fulfilling the scripture- 2Peter 3:4-They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.

But after being misled for so long and hoping and looking up for so long yet nothing happened I built up a mental wall so I would not be mislead again and not get my hopes up for nothing. And so it takes a whole lot for me to believe he is truly coming and simply to have hope in his return.
In all honesty I have lost all hope and simply am unable to believe he is finally coming. Even though I know in my heart that I should simply believe and have hope even if I cannot see it, I keep saying to myself that I wish I had that hope I had before even if it really wasnt time to go home.
Because having blind faith and hope in something that simply isnt here yet is far better than having no hope at all, I have fulfilled the scripture that others before me fulfilled and that has to change.

So I will keep asking, keep trying to believe and pray that God will help me. I finally understand how ppl feel when they want to believe God is real and want to have faith but simply cannot, praying and begging God to reveal himself to them to give them hope and faith yet no reply.
In the same way this is me in my hope to go home, The bible says we receive a crown for looking for his return for being excited for it so I know that its Gods will I have hope again.
But sometimes I wish I had never learned of the rapture as it is a heavy burden to want to believe and have hope yet being unable to

The hope, is God. Not the coming of Jesus or anything else. All evil has lost in the end already. When Jesus said "it is finished" all evil had already lost. Now it didn't mean we wouldn't have any problems in life or wars, but they won't win the war against God and his people. We could be in the end of times, but really, we should even care to look to that day because it's been said when we think he is coming he won't, and when we think he won't be coming he will basically. And they even thought right after Jesus left earth that he was coming back very soon. It's been over 2000 years since then heh. Back then things were horrible as well, and on earth many bad things will happen, it's just being done in a different way as we learn more and grow in life and this simply change. There are signs we are getting closer, but really... don't worry, as the bible says we shouldn't worry, but have faith in God. And with these wars and problems with people, we shouldn't fear what others will do to us, but fear God and stand for and by his words and trust in him. God is always in control, and it will be tough to stand for him as a Christian, and we may suffer and die and not see the purpose until after we leave earth, but God has much more plans and desires to do good than we do for anything. He just had to work it out. And it's written and known that it will be done well. The Lord never promised an easy life with happiness on earth, but he did say he will provide for our needs and if we follow him and gave faith much good can be done. But following God takes much sacrifice and it hurts, but when it's for others, for the world and mostly for God, the sacrifice and suffering and is worth it, and for what God has us to do, we can rejoice and be happy to know what will come from it. I'm in a load of trouble as well and almost everyone around me is living much better not trusting in God, but when I'm going through troubles and seeing more with the world, I know the Lord is taking care of it all, and I need to focus on him, speak to him, trust in him, and do what he has planned for me and not worry when it seems impossible or like it's the end. I've been there, and years continue after those moments and I'm surprised how I got out of those things and what good came from it. But God is working so much, and we are often worrying and focusing on our troubles more than noticing and realizing how our troubles are beginning to help us when the Times get horrible.

I'm not sure what you believe about the, so called rapture, but it might not be true. If you want hope, study the prophesies God gave us to know and understand His plan and timing. You can glean some from my video.

Our hope doesn't rest in people's opinions and interpretation of Scripture, but in Christ Jesus. Have fellowship with the Holy Spirit, that will get you through.

Hi there....I get where you are coming from it is hard to believe something that is or seems to be a future event that you would love to take place in the here and now.

The sermon I heard today in church was about living one day at a time and living in the here and now. He talked about overcoming a sin as in if you knew God was helping you today could you resist getting angry for just one day knowing God was helping you to be kind and gentle for one day? Anyone can do anything for one day when they know God is helping them.

So with that analogy in mind lets talk about Jesus coming again. For one day could you be ready to meet the Lord? You have asked for forgiveness and repented of your sins and you know your heart is ready today to meet the Lord because you have asked for the Holy Spirit to come and dwell in your heart. You know you are ready to meet the Lord today. Then when you wake up tomorrow again for today your heart is right with God you have asked the Holy Spirit to dwell within you and you know you are ready to meet the Lord today.

We don't know from day to day if we will be alive or not and all we have is just the here and now and today. The past is gone and tomorrow never comes as we only live today. I could walk outside to cross the street and get hit and killed by a car, for me today the Lord would come as I would not know anything until Jesus returned and I was resurrected. But I was ready today and had been forgiven and had repented and in my last moments the Holy Spirit was dwelling in my heart I was ready for the Lord to come.

I hope you understand what I have tried to explain to you. That our hope is in the Lord Today while He can still be found and daily we give ourselves to Him then we are ready at any moment for the Lord to come. Our hope is in Today. Not some future event. Blessings to you in your walk with Jesus.

Yes I get what your saying:) A lot of times God will speak through me, I will be praying or talking about God and say something I normally would not say or say something and somehow know or feel that those were his words.

Like this one time before I even knew what the rapture was, I was bawling because i love Jesus so much and missed him so badly but i had this sense of knowing inside that he was coming for me I even said to him out loud I know your coming for me not even knowing what they heck i meant or was talking about.
And now I have been saying in my thoughts that its finally time that the long wait is over and that i can finally marry him, i dont know why i say that as i clearly dont believe it. Maybe its just me wishing it was true or maybe he is speaking through me again, that plus I have been hearing many songs speaking of how Jesus is coming for us. idk, im not sure what to think or believe yet but i know this- so along as I breath I will seek him out and I will build a deeper richer and more powerful love with him, after all the whole reason I want to go home is because of him.

Don't you hate that edit time...

The hope of the Gospel is the coming kingdom of God. This hope is called the anchor to the soul.

This is one of my favorite songs and it goes along with my earlier post...I love this song.

Are You Ready For Jesus To Come

The theme of the Bible is Jesus
And how He died to save man
The plan of salvation assures us
He's coming back again

Are you ready for Jesus to come
Are you faithful in all that you do
Have you fought a good fight
Have you stood for the right
Have others seen Jesus in you
Are you ready to stand in your place
Are you ready to look on His face
Can you look up and say
This is my Lord
Are you ready for Jesus to come

Don't cling to this world and it's pleasures
This earth will soon pass away
Oh give Him your love without measure
He's calling you today

Are you ready for Jesus to come
Are you faithful in all that you do
Do you fight a good fight
Do you stand for the right
Do others see Jesus in you
Are you ready to stand in your place
Are you ready to look on His face
Can you look up and say
This is my Lord
Are you ready for Jesus to come

I think that both versions are correct. "Today when you hear His voice harden not you heart, while it is still called Today".

I am also excited about the rapture and many of those who do believe it will happen before the end of this decade. If you did your homework (research & bible), you can just about determine the time frame for it. There are certain events that must precede the rapture, and there are really one or two events left. We are that close. I could give you a time frame of events that shows how close we are but I will let you figure it out.:)

Blain, what we need to rememebr and learn, is that what we seek is Spirit, not flesh.
That is why we died to flesh with Jesus, so that we would be born with Him in Spirit.
For flesh and blood cannot enter into heaven, Only Spirit.
Its not always easy, that is why we begin with milk, then move onto meat, for just as a baby must learn and grow to do all. We in Jesus need to learn and grow in Jesus's Spirit.
Our biggest battle is to stop looking to what we can hold in our hands or mind.
And in faith, trust all in Jesus to God.
This means to in faith, to know that all we are called to and born into is of Jesus's Spirit, and it is learning to trust all to God Our Father, to provide through the Holy Spirit.
We try so hard, running around telling ourselves that if we do this or that, if we have this knowladge or that knowladge, we will be compleat.
When it is by faith, setting our hopes upon what is unseen, trusting all in Jesus, to the love shown us by His sacrifice, knowing that it is this love that God Our Father desires and gives to all.
For it is faith that brings alive in spirit, all done, sought, and lived in Jesus.
Everything is just flesh otherwise.
We are called by faith in Jesus to live in His Spirit.
It is by this faith all is made compleat.
For there are three things that last, faith, hope and love, the greatest of these being love.

Do not worry about what you should have or see in this wolrd.
Know by faith, that all is already done in Jesus.

Sometimes we are given a glimce, not because we are supposed to do or expect anything special, but so we may know by faith, that God's love has all in His hands, and we can trust all to Him. :)

In Jesus, God bless

The blood of the martyr is the seed of the Church, so you should have lots of hope coming in those days

Romans 11:36 - all things are to Him, through him and to him

I'd probably stop stinking thinking towards what your mind conceives as the end, and think of the glorious future: probably have less dreams about it. The mind usually dreams what you put into it

that's why I don't watch horror movies
