I dont believe he is taking the glory, Santa is being a do'er of the Word. Santa is giving and serving, Try it you might like it.

Move the letter "n" to the end in the word "Santa" and it spells "Satan." This is popular in the occult. The changing of letters around in a word to make a new word to hide the true word is called an "anagram." Also, the word "Clause" is another "anagram."

Lucas and Lucis are new-age "code words" for Lucifer. Clause = Lucas(e).

He dresses in red.

He plays on giving material stuff for people so as to love the things of this world (Rather than focusing on loving God and people).

But the Bible says,

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." (1 John 2:15)

Today, the greed over stuff on Black Friday has caused violence and even death. All supposedly so as to give.

This is a little early, we have yet to bash Halloween and the Great Pumpkin or the turkey fest. But I've always thought of it this way...

Using silly word games that don't work in most other languages and the color red are among the poorest arguments i've yet heard amidst a series of already poor arguments.

Your not going to change any occultist beliefs here. It's a common occult practice to use anagrams. I can see one word maybe being written by a random frequency of letters. But both words point to the fact that it is Satan? That is not a coincidence. Also, look up the history of Santa in relation to Christianity. Look up the origin of Saint Nick and why he gives presents. Santa is the secular world pagan alternative if you don't believe in Jesus Christ. Also, red is associated with the devil according to the Bible. See Revelation 12:3-4.

Yeah, see; That didn't happen. There is no Santa Clause. He is just a myth. Santa is satanic in origin; And one day Satan will have to bow his knee before Jesus Christ like everybody else. So the picture is appropriate. Santa (Satan) is bowing before Jesus.

People who had beautiful annual Christmases when they were kids will never agree with you that Santa is taking glory from God at Christmas. The family bonding, food, laughter, thoughtful gifts, , joy , fun games , hugs and kisses are memories we will cherish and these memories will always remind us that we have a very good God who loves us and His provisions will never run out.

Fourteen Thursdays more to Christmas.

Yes, this is my thoughts too, it is amazing how many Christians do think it's all just a bit of fun for the kids. To me it is the first serious lie people tell their kids, it's very sad!

I must say, I agree with the family get togethers, the gifts as Jesus is Gods gift to us, I don't agree that 'Santa' should get credit for parents hard work or glory that belongs to God alone for that first gift! Blue_ladybug, this is just something that I believe God has put on my heart, I just wondered what my brothers and sister thought too!

You can't see it because it is a spiritual matter (that I believe is all too clear to see). It is childish to you because you are looking at things from a natural man perspective and not from a spiritual new man perspective (thru the lens of Scripture). Don't believe me? Ask God to show you (Jeremiah 33:3). Steer clear of the things of this world and focus more on God's Word.

You will get a mixed bag of responses on this. Some will say they love Christmas and it's traditions and that Santa/Christmas are not satanic. Others will say it is. Some people such as Jason0047 will cite anagrams and colors associated with Christmas as making it satanic.

When I was little, I loved Christmas!! Through the years, though, I've grown to dread it every year because my family and I don't get along well, so it's just stressful on me to put up with them for even a day.

I do think Christmas is overdone sometimes. Meaning people are thinking more about what cool gifts they're going to get, rather than remembering Christmas for it's original intent: Jesus' birth. I do agree with Jason on the point that people get overly greedy on the holidays--Black Friday is nuts!! People will tear out your eyeballs just to get that one ipad you're holding that they want. LOL.

Here's a cool christmas fact: "mas" means more in Spanish. so Christmas actually means "more Christ"!!

Thank you to every one who replied, I tend to agree with Jason on this one. I have always ( that is since becoming a Christian) thought of the word Christmas to mean Christ Man As Saviour, God Bless!

Dear Blue Lady Bug:

The devil owns this world and blinds the minds of men. Anyone who is not a believer is owned by the devil. They can sometimes be nice people, but they are not saved people who seek to love God and walk in His righteousness. We are commanded not to love this world and the things that are in it. Also, Jesus said, you cannot serve two masters. For you will hate the one and love the other. In other words, there is no neutral territory. Santa is not mentioned in the Bible and it is something that is of this world. It is the alternative for people who do not want Jesus Christ within their life. Do you want Jesus in your life on Christmas or do you want the secular (worldly) version?
