    I have been depressed all my life. I have prayed, gone to counseling and failed 3 times as marriage, all due to my depression. I am tired of living. I hate my life and this world. Yet I know that I don't have the type of struggles that people in 3rd world countries have; I have a college degree and can basically take care of myself alone.     In my many years in churches I don't recall ever hearing a message, sermon or talk about patient endurance. I may have heard the term used in passing or in some theological framework but I never heard a teacher or pastor really explain what patient endurance is. Frankly I think these people have done a disservice to the Body of Christ by not discussing patient endurance and how important it is to the life of real faith and the journey through the wilderness.   5. Matthew 24:20; The Destruction of the Temple and the Sabbath

    But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:
    (Mat 24:20 KJV)

    Context brings us to 1290 years in the future; not to the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD my friends. But 1290 years from the point that the Messiah is cut off on Calvary.

    Matthew 24:20 is being said in connection with verse 15.

    The abomination of desolation happens many years in the future from the destruction of the Temple.
