    Gentleness seems rare these days.
    It's so seldom shown, or felt, in the everyday experience (at least in what I experience) that when someone displays it, it's beautifully surprising -- like perfume that evokes a sweet memory.
    Much rushing gets done in my daily life. Rushing at work. Rushing to get home. Rushing to get to work. Rushing to make dinner. Rushing to do errands so I can relax.
    Then amid the rushing there is the stress: angry drivers (I sometimes fall into this category), ...

  4. The inlaws are at it again...

    So my husband's sister is getting married next year and we've just been waiting on the invitation to come. Tonight, however, My husband called to see what his folks are up to and how they're doing and was informed that our two daughters will be at his sister's wedding because they are in it.

    NEVER were we asked if our daughters could take part in the wedding. No. we were told that they would be there.
