    I had a dream several months ago.
    I saw a group of Christians riding in an SUV with their windows down, Christian music blaring.
    Somehow I knew (you know how in a dream when you just know something) that they were rich and living in a bubble and had become numb to the pain of others.
    This led me to think about a few things.

  2. A tree's knees and quiet time (poetry)

    Tree knees:

    They look like worshippers stuck in the ground, bowing near a giant preacher. These bumpy knees of cypress trees, wet from a creek, hands melded together in prayer.
    Above them, the preacher spreads his green-feathered arms, swaying the people with his sermon and pointing them to the sky.
    His congregants are stuck in this muddy church, stretching their twisted faces toward heaven.

    To say God will love you no matter what you do, is the forked tongue of misconception, the same as the deception of Eve. One side of the forked tongue speaks truth. Yes God is Love, and he cannot hate. Just as satan took and used the sepent to lie to Eve, saying that God said not to eat of this fruit, but you will not die, you will be like God knowing Good from Evil. Wrong.
