    by , 2 Weeks Ago at 08:03 PM
    Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends,
    and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had
    compassion on thee.
    Mark 5:19 (KJV)

    The word compassion is literally translated as "suffer with." It is often
    used when a person helps someone with his/her struggles in life. In Mark 5,
    Jesus showed compassion on a man who had been possessed by demons. ...

  2. Three Lies Christian Believe

    by , 2 Weeks Ago at 02:57 PM
    We live in fast-pace world. We only have 52 Sundays a year, we have time that requires urgency and there are things we believe that are with great urgency and priority.

    The latest data from Pew shows a decline in religious affiliation and belief in God among U.S. adults between 2007 and 2017. 1 Timothy 3:1-13

    This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
    A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
    Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

  5. Lessons from a country drive

    by , 2 Weeks Ago at 12:37 AM
    I adjusted the radio as I drove tonight along a dark road, heading toward swaths of farmland.
    I had felt an urge to go out that way to get away from the city that I call home.
    This country drive is the one I take when I want to feel free from traffic and busy, chaotic places -- when I feel like I need space to breathe.
    I settled on a radio station when a preacher's voice struck me.
    He spoke about how it's important to know God's heart, to really get to know Him. ...
