    "Zech. 1-2 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof."

    First of all, the man with a measuring line is an angel of the LORD. The measuring line is not so much about measuring as laying claim to. The LORD is about to create a new thing, the rebuilding of Jerusalem.

    Was Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar or Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon? Are they one and the same? Maybe. Nebuchadnezzar's war skills created the empire but was it by his design?
