"Zech. 3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him."

"Job 1:6-7 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it."

"Luke 10:18 And he (Jesus) said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."

Satan, which means adversary, is among us. He is our ever present adversary. There are many temptations that will test us. That is Satan's purpose. Many of these temptations are his strongholds. In Zech. 3:1 Satan is at Joshua the high priest's right hand. The right hand is the dominate hand. That Satan is at his right hand, his hand of strength, is very revealing. Could it be that Satan is at the right hand of every man or servant of God to destroy them? How many mighty men of God have fallen from grace because they fell into his trap? The evangelist Billy Graham supposedly never went anywhere that he might be caught in a situation where he was alone with a woman. He understood the danger and took measures to protect himself.

"1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"
