  1. Seasons

by , 2 Weeks Ago at 02:12 AM

You told me as the leaves grew
It was the start of something new
Eager starry eyes full of dreams
The world was waiting, it seems
    Summer blessings were mine
This was my time to shine
In hope, I waited for redemption
But now I want a conversation
I am a child waiting after school
Did you forget me? I am a fool
By your Hands, I am humbled
In the dark for You, I stumbled
As it gets cold faster, I crawl
    Just

  2. Heavy

With the end of one, there is yet another
But when I look back as I get further
As I cross through life, season by season
I do not feel prepared to seemingly ease in
But what looked insurmountable and heavy
Now appears feather light, I was happy
In old pictures when I believed I was breaking
It was nothing then, I was only growing
    This time should fly by,

  3. At The Edge of the Cliff

    by , October 6th, 2017 at 04:02 AM
After everything, I felt I was at the edge of the cliff.
Higher than I had ever been, but the fall would be devastating.
There was this rush of emotion – of anger, despair and grief.

I cried out, “Even my earthly father would never allow me to be at this point. You have brought me to the very edge. How could you God!”

I wanted comfort. I wanted reassurance. I wanted an apology of sorts.

Then a voice rushed over me – “If you are not ...

  4. Job 1:13-22. The Job Theory - When All is Lost

    Job 1:13-22

One day when Job’s sons and daughters were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brother’s house, a messenger came to Job and said, “The oxen were plowing and the donkeys were grazingnearby, and the Sabeans attacked and made off with them. They put the servants to the sword, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!”

While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, “The fire of God fell from the heavens and burned up the sheep and

  5. 20 something

You feel in colour. Blue. When you wake up
From 3 hours of sleep, yet your skin is supple,
Firm without a line, kissed by the sun, tanned,
Bronzed honey is the colour, you need no make up

Red is when you bite your lips, in embarrassment
at the desire you evoke, you are the epitome
of youth, of passion, of potential energy
yet you are kinetic, in motion and sentiment

The women stare with jealousy , you care so less about
