Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law. But thanks be to God! He gives

  2. God forgives us; but do we forgive ourselves?

It is fair to say that Paul never got over the fact that he violently persecuted the Church. Even though his rampage against the first followers of Jesus had ended over 20 years earlier, as we read the position of his life in 1 Timothy, he still grieved because of what he had done.

But, as we look at his position in Christ, as he gets older, Paul was moved to celebration and praise because God's mercy is always greater than sin.

The Church of God is in danger of forgetting what Jesus Christ came for and He is being presented as a mere example. I visit countless threads here at "C.C" where people create and re-create

  5. "A Wedding Announcement of Commitment Versus an exchanged contract."

You first heard it when you were a child, "Now, I want you to promise me...."

".....you'll listen to your older sister!"
".....you won't get into the cookies."
".....You'll come right home after school!"
    ".....you'll be good for Grandma."

Of course, these types of promises weren't always freely given. You were requested to make them.

As you grew up, you might have learned to "use"
