  1. We have to accept the reality of life!

by , 3 Weeks Ago at 10:35 AM
So I finally just finished watching Netfix's 13 Reasons Why, its a very thrilling but very very depressing series. It deals with bullying, depression, suicide and the danger that is the social ladder. After watching it, it brought back memories of highschool. I went to a Christian Highschool and while yes it wasn't as extreme, there was bullying and popularity contests that always went on. In the show, it showed how young kids would desperatley want to join the popular kids and they'll do anything ...

    by , February 23rd, 2017 at 09:30 PM
It's a problem in my church and it really discourages me and the youth. I don't know if this is a problem in your church but I assume it is in other churches. On Fridays my church has youth services and for the most part the services are empty. Not because the lack of youth, but lack of adults. Any other services are full except ours. The atheist said, because they are our biggest ...

  4. Everyone has a testimony

    by , December 23rd, 2016 at 11:16 AM
You may disagree with me, but any who I went to a youth retreat a few years ago and Tim Ross was the speaker for one of the services. I was one of those people who would always hear people give testimonies about overcoming sickness, overcoming addiction to alcohol and drugs, therefore those people can give powerful testimonies. I myself never went through any of that so I always thought, I have no testimony. However I forget the overall message of his preaching but one thing he said stood out. ...

  5. Never let anyone's words define who you are and let them hurt you

    by , December 4th, 2016 at 01:31 PM
A few months ago I saw a YouTube video from last year where a girl responded to the famous fat shaming video where so many got offended. During the video response she said, the fat shaming and intentionally trying to offend someone is not okay and it's wrong. However the main point of her video was that people shouldn't let others offend them. If someone offends you by making fun of your appearance or personality, if you get offended or hurt that is because you deep down believe what that person ...
