  1. Are Mega Churches Helpful or Hurtful?

by , 1 Week Ago at 02:30 PM
Some Christians underestimate the importance of regularly attending Church and dismiss it because they are too busy or are prioritizing other hobbies/work above it. Scripture says, 'Some people have gotten out of the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that....." (Hebrews 10:25, CEV). God always know what's best for us, which is why the Bible stands for "basic instructions before leaving Earth." There are numerous reasons why God wants us to attend Church. First, it encourages ...
  2. Revelation 3:14-22 Laodicea (part II)

“I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.”

The reference to Gold being refined in the fire is the process of purging the dross or impurities out of the gold so that it will be pure gold. The imputities of course are figurative of our sinful nature being purged from our lives, which is accomplished by on-going trials and tribulation ...

14“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation. 15I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18I counsel ...

To the angel of the church in Sardis write:

These are the words of the One who has the sevenfold Spirit of God and the seven stars.

I know your deeds; you have a reputation for being alive, yet you are dead. 2Wake up and strengthen what remains, which was about to die; for I have found your deeds incomplete in the sight of My God. 3Remember, then, what you have received and heard. Keep it and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know ...
  5. How do we address our fellow christians on being judgemental

    by , September 25th, 2017 at 05:52 PM
It seems like today more and more people are pushing against the church because of pain from the church. I'm hearing about how the Christians/the church are judging people rather than helping. I can speak from my own experiences where the judgement of my own or other peoples appearance or even that persons struggles with sin was met with shunning or gossip. Instead of an open armed welcome (which we're called to do) I keep seeing a disassociation from that person or persons. How can we respectfully ...
