    The day is dawned and the light gets brighter, I walk through the darkness as a soldier and fighter.     Transitioning to a new place can be scary, it can be difficult, and it can even be devastating! Can you imagine how Abram must have felt when he heard God utter these unexpected words in Genesis chapter 12..."Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you". Sometimes I wonder did Abram respond with quick obedience or did he do like most us and respond with delayed obedience because of how scary and devastating those words must have been. ...

    The Book of James found in the New Testament is not called the "wisdom teachings" for no reason! After recently studying it myself, I have found that so much of the troubles I face from a day to day basis and the burdens I cant seem to shake off can be eased off by spending 10 minutes in reading a book of wisdom-such as Ephesians,Proverbs, Psalms and James. Yes-that means 10 WHOLE MINUTES from revision,cleaning,work,sleeping,etc. to recharge and get your priorities straight.
