  1. Community Bible Study

    I live in an area with a large number of Catholics, and they all send their kids to Parish School Religion (PSR). PSR seems to be a pretty rigorous study program—almost like school. The Catholic children who finish PSR seem extremely knowledgeable about Catholicism. That seems in sharp contrast to our non-denominational church students.

    As a Sunday School teacher at our non-denominational church, our goal is to make sure the kids learn about the Bible so they can have a relationship

    Appropriate is an interesting word.(yes, I'm a word nerd) I looked it up in the dictionary and found that it doesn't mean what I thought it did. I thought it meant to use something. The meaning is actually somewhat stronger and broader than that. It's meaning is to grasp something, claim it, and then use it for what it is was meant to be used for and in the way it was meant to be used.
