Before I get too far along, I am going to define the phrase "I don't care".

I don't care = I do not have interest in this, nor adequate time available to me to develop an interest in it. I do not feel as though having knowledge sufficient to form an opinion will make any substantial difference in my life.

So, from here on out, when I use the term "I don't care", I am really saying the above.

Okay, with that disclaimer out of the way (and by the way, isn't it pathetic I feel as though I need to have a disclaimer on what I say given how touchy people here at CC are?)...with the disclaimer out of the way, let's get to the meat of the topic.

There are a number of topics that seem to be popular topics of "discussion" (more like venomous exchanges), and these topics show up over and over. The more I see them, the more I am compelled to state for myself and for others who might read this, what my positions are regarding these topics.

Once Saved, Always Saved? - I don't care

End Times? - I don't care

Predestination? - I don't care

Gifts of The Spirit? - I don't care

Women preachers/pastors? - I don't care

Can a {insert sinner here} be saved? - I don't care

Do aspects of the OT still apply? - I don't care

{insert denomination here} are heretical and just wrong? - I don't care

What Bible version? - I don't care

Oh, I can hear the questions why am I here? What do I care about? How can I call myself a Christian and not care about this stuff? Am I just a troll? Yadda, yadda, yaddda. I think if I listen closely, I can hear people rustling the pages in their Bibles to find verses to show me to "correct" my thinking. Guess what? I don't care. If you're allowed to have strong opinions on topics, then I am allowed to not have them and to not care about not having them.

If I am lucky, I can carve out about an hour a day in a few minutes here and there to sit down and read a chapter or maybe two of the Bible. I don't have the ample free time to go chasing rabbits on hot-button topics, so I choose to wisely use my time and just read and reflect. Even as I have read and have recognized passages I have seen in debates used to illustrate one point or another, I still don't care. A passage out of context says something vastly different that when taken in it's context with the supporting, neighboring passages.

Whatever. I don't care.

By the way, I know you don't care that I don't care and it's okay because I don't care.

What do you care about? Not trying to be snarky; just genuinely curious

Are you asking in an overall sense, or do you mean in reference to a specific topic? I'm not sure how to answer your question until I know what you are asking.
