hmm, lovely way asking a girl into marriage I guess. But I have know most girls to get shamed in the spotlight so it would not surprise me if the girl declines a guys proposal in public. Even mine if I choose that. But I am still struggling with the first steps of asking a girl or girls out. I just do not want to think of it but it is impossible. Jesus keeps reminding of a special girl for me. I have have my heart broken 3 times over crushes. I do not know if i can endure another...

wup eugene, hey everybody, this would be nice though you would have to first notify your spouse and convince her to watch without letting her know what you're about to ask

Oh wow, I'd NEVER ask a girl to marry me on TV. That's WRONG in my opinion. She almost has to say yes, and then recant later, just to save herself and the guy from the embarrassment of saying no. I've seen that happen at basketball games, where the guy got turned down. She got lots of boos and it was an awkward situation. I think privately is far better, at least for most personalities. Some people like the attention, but something like that... nope, I wouldn't do it. I'd like her to legitimately be able to tell me no, if that was the way she felt. You don't want to get married based off of peer pressure.

^^^YES. THANK YOU. I SO wouldn't want to be proposed to in a dramatic public way, it would really bother me, even if I wanted to accept. Is it a serious question that you really want the honest answer to, or not?

But, I'm sure that there are a lot of girls that would really enjoy the thought and effort behind something like that, and that's not wrong, either. I guess the trick is knowing your lady friend well enough to know what she would like. Everybody's different, thank goodness

i feel the same way. i would be really bugged. and i'd be so mad at them for not knowing me well enough to know i would hate a public proposal that i'd turn them down

my opinion might be wrong. but yours might not be right either. i mean. even tho there is absolute truth. there still is personal truth that each of us hold. truth is not relative. but personal experience is. and we ALL have different opinions. people all over the world differ on these issues. some crucial. some not so crucial and i am SURE God has an opinion on it all... and His trumps all... but you don't KNOW that your opinion is God's opinion. do you?

Just in case anybody took me serious in those first few posts, I was entirely joking and I am getting tired of sorting through applications... Never take me serious, EVER, unless I look at you like this O_O

    You can stop sorting through.

All of those applications were from me... I figured I'd have better odds by sending in multiples, with various fake names. Seems like you would be interested in ONE of my personalities...

Oh, and by the way: never take me seriously, either.

I'm so devoted, he's taken out 3 restraining orders against me. You don't know what you're talking about.

P.S. Josh, if you're reading this, you really should take the garbage to the curb the night before, so you don't have to go running out with it at 7 a.m., like you did last week. It's just good planning, which is VERY important to me.
