Default Public apology from cfultz3 for his crusade against CC

    This is from cfultz3:

    -----------------------

Some time has past since my rampage and many regrets on my part has been felt. I wish to take this time to apologize to not only you, the staff, but also to all those who were offended by me taking a negative stance. In my knee-jerk defensive response for another brother, I never took the time to fully know what was going on, but in all honesty, took his side without hestitation.

So, I say whole-heartly, "I am sorry for saying the negative things I did towards the administrators of this site. Also, I am sorry for trying to arouse a "mutiny", when all-in-all, the administrators knew the situation and was handling it accordingly."

If forgiveness has been found, I ask the staff to post this apology for all to read. And again, I ask to be accepted back in the community.

    God Bless,
    cfultz.

He's now unbanned and we forgive him.

We do ask that he be held accountable to this public apology and no longer do such things against us and our site.

God is good. Many a good words from cee, including enlihhtening Hebrews book.study but our humanness is real and Datan does attack.us, the more good we do, yhe more we get attacked (robo, you must be getting REALLY attacked!), anyway, yeah, that's enough, good he's
    back, the Lord leads

God bless the c.c. for forgiveness.

Tough to do, but how many times did Jesus say we are to forgive others? 70x7 .

This is not saying 490 times only either, if need be, it is saying as many times as needed.

    God bless you, all

Without God, we have nothing. With Him, we have everything we ever need, and, more.

Is compassion compassion at all if it's not based on the Truth ?

The Holy Spirit leads ALL believers lives, wants to. Are you letting Him lead yours ?

    God bless your days !

Thanks GreenNnice.. actually to tell you the truth it was easy to forgive him because what he did was short-lived, and was really nothing compared to what some other "Christians" have done against us (and have never repented and tried to undo the damage they did) .. a little harder to forgive them, if they would ever repent.. but yes God forgives me so how can we not forgive...

I'm glad things turned out for the better
    Hope is what we crave,
    And that will never change
    So I stand and wait
I need a drop of grace
    To carry me today,
    A simple song to say
    It's written on my soul:
    Hope's what we crave

    Dear RoboOp,

I think that everyone needs to recognize the unique, and difficult, position that you and the other "administrators" are in. On the one hand, you are Christians, and answer to all of the precepts in God's word. On the other hand, you are charged with maintaining the integrity and viability (Dare I say "sanity"?) of this site.

It should be obvious that you may sometimes be forced into decisions and actions that you might not necessarily make as an individual. Your burden is large in that you are often "$%#*ed if you do and $%#*ed if you don't".

I just want to reaffirm my respect and appreciation for all you guys, and thank you for the job you do every day.

    God bless you all.

Fantastic to read of remorse and forgiveness.

It sets an example for us all.

I love seeing forgiveness at work. I just have one question, why would Christians go against this site? I know that there may be no reasonable explanation, but I am lost to see why.

    Hi Cari99

Here are a few common reasons for crusades and attacks against our site:

    1. Somebody thinks we're "compromising the word of God" or something like that. Or they think we tolerate heresy, sin, etc. just because they see some error posted by some user(s) on our site. (Truth is, on Bible doctrine we're actually about as conservative and "fundamentalist" as you can get (without being totally legalistic). But at the same time we don't ban everyone who has error, and we don't always screen and catch everything immediately either. So some people react and presume things about us, and then maybe start a crusade based on nonsense.)

    2. Somebody thinks they've made the big discovery that "it doesn't cost $3,000/mth to run a website". They'll say they can get a GoDaddy account "with unlimited bandwidth" for $5.99/mth. So therefore Christian Chat, or the admin/ower/whatever is a liar and a thief. (They won't bother to read the details on our Donate page, or if they do read it, it just won't matter.) So they presume to know all the expenses of a site they don't operate, and also they totally neglect what should be regarded as the biggest expense: the work (yes, it's more than one full time job to serve thousands of live people). And for some reason, such a person (who is served totally free) is bothered by the fact that there are other people on the site who are happy to help support the work of the site. (I have no explanation for why.)

    3. Somebody has a friend who is banned. They hear that person's side and judge us based on that person's side of things, and start a crusade based on that. And in some cases it's quite convenient because they want to build up their own site -- by using that ban story and maligning our site and trying to pull away our users to their own site, and instantly build up their own site overnight.

    4. We ban an atheist for very good reason, after the atheist has already made friends with Christians here. Then the atheist spreads lies and slander about the admin who banned him, and the Christian friends and acquaintances of the atheist actually listen to the atheist and believe the atheist. (Don't ask me why Christians would listen to atheists or expect any truth from atheists; I have no explanation for that either.) Then, inspired by the atheist, the Christian(s) go on a crusade, armed with the lies of the atheist.

    5. Somebody's whole life is Christian Chat. They're on CC night and day. And the person is not very stable (maybe not mentally stable or just maybe not spiritually stable, or both.) Then something happens with people on the site, or with a moderator or something. It may have nothing to do with the founder of the site. But then the biggest lover of CC becomes the biggest hater of CC, instantly. Then they have a big void or vaccuum. Coz for the past 6 months, CC was their whole life, night and day. So then for the next 6 months of their life that big vacuum of time is filled with hating CC, and they go on a mission to destroy CC, by attempting to destroy the reputation of the founder of CC (who happens to be me).

    6. Somebody has some huge issues in their own life. Like, major sexual sin, or something very inappropriate. They totally need accountability in their own life, or need to confess and repent of major sin in their own life. But instead they try to put the spotlight on someone else, and accuse or insinuate things about Christian Chat (nonsense things, or things that aren't sin). Then later we find out that the person who was so very critical, judgmental, etc. against us was going around doing cyber sex or even in person sexual sin with people from our chat room. Or something extremely inappropriate. In such cases of unreasonable criticism of us by such people, we have to conclude that there's something psychological about them trying to put the spotlight on somebody else so that they don't have to face their own huge issues/sin/etc.

    7. Somebody disagrees with something we do. It could be anything (since we have to make so many decisions and actions, and people don't know and understand everything behind it). So just because they disagree with something that they don't fully understand, they go against our site or speak against our site in some kind of way.

There are some big common examples, with some of my own analysis, for what it's worth.

Having said all that, thank God for all the awesome brothers and sisters here. Most are actually very positive and appreciative and very supportive, thank God!

Thank you for explaining that, though still, the question of why still haunts everything that people do. Sin doesn't seem to always have a logical reason behind it. However, I thank you for the site. I was looking for something like this, where true Christians can get together and talk. I know quite a bit of non-Christians in my daily life, so this can definitely be a comfort.

I haven't been on CC that much the last couple of months..I'm surprised something like this was even going on. I'm glad the guy was forgiven Welcome back cfultz3!

But in all honesty it boggles my mind that something like this could have even gone on. This is a christian chat site for crying out loud, not a movie. Surely there must be better things to do with one's time rather than try to stage a mutiny on a christian chat site -_- really now? Find a new hobby..

To RoboOp and the staff on this site.. Thank you for all your hard work behind the scenes of running this site. For giving up your time to make sure that people you don't know from a bar of soap (that you don't know in real life and will probably never meet) will have a nice place to chat to fellow believers on. Kudos to you

I've been an administrator on a songwriting forum, and have run into similar situations in the past. It's a though position to be in, but it's admirable, the way you and the staff have handled it.

Wishing everyone peace, and many blessings!
