We strongly urge people to report forum content you feel needs reporting.

There is something you can do to make it easier for us.

Many reported posts have many long paragraphs of content to read.

Most of the time we don't have the time to read all of the content.

Finding the offensive needle in the haystack can be time consuming

To make things easier for us, please copy and paste the two to four sentences you feel are the most offensive.

Doing this will make sure you're reporting something that truly needs reporting.
Sometimes people report something just because they are frustrated with a person.

After receiving the report, we spend a lot of time reading it.
We don't find anything offensive there.
Why? Because the person reported someone that made them upset.
They weren't reported for actual offensive content.

Again, please report stuff you feel needs reporting
Also please do these things to make our job easier.

Yeah that works.

Would that be the best way to report posts that are longer than a couple lines? Copy the entire thing and make the bit we think is bad enough to be edited/give someone a warning about show up in red?

By the way, I will be eternally grateful that you gave me permission to report your post without any negative repercussions .

If you truly think something needs reporting, please report it. Just make sure you're not doing it ONLY because you disagree with them, or because what they say makes you upset. Make sure it's truly something that is offensive/wrong/against the rules.

Hehe, you just answered your own question, Yourfriend4life . If you mean "how do I start a new thread?", you click the blue button that says "post new thread"; it's on the home page of each individual forum that regular members are allowed to post in. This one isn't one of those; only moderators can post a thread in the "announcements" forum.

Oh, and that blue button is at the top left of the screen on the pages that I mentioned, a couple inches down.
