I think the voice chat tends to be dominated by all the native English speakers, so we want to add a new room specifically for non-native English speakers. I can easily add the room but I need a background.

The background should be 700x555 pixels. If anyone has a background to suggest you can post it here.

Also we need to decide on the room name. I was thinking "EnglishPractice". But one of our dutch users suggested "PracticeEnglish". If anyone has any other ideas for the name of the room, feel free to post it here as well.

Hey I think this is a great idea! Maybe "LearnEnglish"?

Why do you want to segregate non-native english speakers from the native english speakers. Don't you think that the non-native english speakers will pick up English better from a common room than such a segregated room. It'll be like the blind leading the blind, unless it is guided by someone who has mastery of the English language. Please note that not all native english speakers speak proper English.

I think this room idea is cool. I am not a Native English Speaker. But I would love to pop in the room and speak my native tounge( What I remember, maybe this could help me to re-learn my native tounge as well as help others learn english)

I've talked to several of our non-native English speaking users and they very much liked the idea. The voice chat in the other rooms naturally tends to be dominated by native English speakers speaking to each other. This new room will be for non-native English speakers who want to talk to each other and also native English speakers who want to speak with non-native English speakers and help them practice English. It won't be for native English speakers to dominate by talking to each other.

No one will be forced to use the room. But if anyone likes the idea, it's there.

I think it's awesome and a great idea to have a room where people can not only speak another language but learn the one most people on here use! That's always good to learn that kinda stuff!

even if it's okay for me to make a room for non-native enlglish speakers, i also agree that it is better if we'll just mix up and enjoy chatting with each other. It'll make us feel we're on the same page as native english speakers and to sum up, we must treat each other equally so whether if it's non-native or native it shouldn't matter.
