So let me get this right blue jeans at church is a sinful act of some sort? What am I missing.
For those who make up nonsense that "fear" means "reverence and respect", because they want to justify their foolish lack of fear of God, I'd like to know how their reverence and respect manifests or shows itself. I bet these are the people who are so irreverent and disrespectful that they tend to be the ones who show up to church in blue jeans.

:)Hi BreeGab14

We are supposed to fear the one who made us who is God according to the Holy Bible. He is the one who can cause us to go eternally to a lake of fire with the evil ones or to have His grace and faith to be saved from that if He choses us to be His. It is a great gift to be His a huge blessing. But although I am secure in who I am in Him, knowing I am loved eternally and faithfully by Him, because He has allowed that, I still fear Him. I still want to please Him and do what is right because I love Him and don't want to be His enemy ever or take His salvation He has given me lightly. So in my opinion there is good reason to alway fear God with a reverential fear. It is huge respectful fear. Knowing He is our Maker of Love and we are not and yet He chose us to know Him and His love for us and to be blessed by Him and that is so amazingly awesome.
