I gave my life to God Aug. 9, 2006. I was an alcholic with a D.W.I, dying from only drinking a gallon vodka daily & lost everything but my dog, daughter & car. I went to a shelter, had to do community work that led me to a Christian based recovery program that led me to a Church. Well I hope you can guess the rest. I am now married, healed from alcholism & nicotine. I have had a Word of God spoken through me to the church-(which I can truly say was AWESOME) scary at first but it rates TOP of the list on things to do again. I have have prophetic dreams, etc....... If you don't know God-you need to!

You never give up anything with God that is not replaced with something unreplacable..

It is amazing when God sets captives free, that's for sure. I battled addictions to both horror films and pornography in my life, and I've been freed from both of them by the grace and love of God Himself. Congrats on your freedom, prosperity, and peace!

Im happy for you Wootie,
God is so amazong and his love too. I had problems with alcholism few years ago, thaks God now Im free.
Many people around the world have same problem, some of them are looking for help but just a minority realize Jesus is their solution.
So we must preach everyone, God heals, God restores and forgives all our sins.

i thanks should also be given that your daughter hung in there with you because alcoholism destroys relationships and hurts not only you but the people around you
