DINOSAURS

There are dinosaur bones, supposedly millions years old. God created all. Is the earth older than we think? 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth', and then he speaks all else into existence each day. Is there a gap in time between those events? I just am wondering if God created the earth and all in it longer ago than thought.

The so-called "gap theory" is nonsense. It's something people made up to accomodate the geological cloumn, which states that every layer of rock in the Earth is millions of years different in age. That column is also a fallacy, created by a Scottish lawyer named Charles Lyell who invented it strictly to try and disprove the Bible.

You can go into almost any museum today, and ask the scientists, "How do you know these bones are so old?" their answer will likely be, "Because we found them in this rock layer." But then, you ask them how they know the age of the rock, and they'll say, "Because we found these dinosaur bones in it." That line of thought is a classic example of circular reasoning; it just doesn't work.

^^ great post my friend! anyway the earth is only 6000 yrs old just like what the bible said! and most dinosaurs died during the time of Noah! the only way to fossilized those huge animals is through rapid burial which could only happen if there's world wide flood!

^^ great post my friend! anyway the earth is only 6000 yrs old just like what the bible said! and most dinosaurs died during the time of Noah! the only way to fossilized those huge animals is through rapid burial which could only happen if there's world wide flood!

All I can really say is that rejecting what we know about biology and geology, from hundreds of years of research and study and an unfathomably huge amount of evidence, does nothing to glorify God. Instead we should appreciate the beauty of the world that he has created and continue to learn what we can about it in order to better understand the majesty of creation.

I believe that the earth and universe was formed thorough "evolution" . God made the earth in 6 days, but in his eyes a one day can be a thousand years...
I'll be very disappointed if the earth, sun, and everythong else out there is only 6 thousand years old

All I can really say is that rejecting what we know about biology and geology, from hundreds of years of research and study and an unfathomably huge amount of evidence, does nothing to glorify God. Instead we should appreciate the beauty of the world that he has created and continue to learn what we can about it in order to better understand the majesty of creation.

well pls don't get offended my friend but believing in a god who used evolution to create all of us doesn't sound like the god of the bible! i really don't wanna argue with this creation vs evolution thing since neither of us can disprove each other! that's unless we can use a time machine to see what really happened back then!

as for me my faith in God is the thing that's keeping me from believing that we came from monkeys

well god is god and nothing is impossible to him! that's why i believe that he created everything in only 6 days and took a break on the 7th! the human brain is limited and science alone cant show us everything! but then again i don't wanna go to a deep argument about this! im just happy that im not talking to an atheist right now since they'll do everything on their power to put ppl like me (creationist) down!
