On a day to day basis, we face so many trials in our family, that it seems like some family members are constantly tearing apart the very relationship, that we all strive to accomplish.
Take a look at some family members who don't care for their younger members, but will be so ummm...whats the word..."SUBMISSIVE" to those outside the family.
You ever realize how many persons would rather help strangers outside their family faster, rather than help a aiding hand to ailing family members.
Think of how wonderful it would be, if a members could finally accept each other just way they are and not be trying to restrain one's behavior each and every day.
Sometimes it can be so nagging when you actually think of it.
How can you be trying like your whole life to please your family and in the end they drop you like a ball, just like that. I will not be bias, as not to say that their are some family that are closer than water molecules and will stick with you, through thick and thin, but others are not so faithful.
People should take time out to appreciate the little things in life, even more to appreciate the members handed down by "GOD" to keep us company in times of distress and endless need.
This life might be singular, but family is of a plural sense and should be loved each and every day of the year.
Don't ever forget that things will not be the same every time you go somewhere, so remember to keep things in my mind that will be of comfort to you and make it be a stronghold, like the 'Father' is to is children.

Love is life, live it to the fullest all the time.

With Love from me and the rest of Jamaica :)

I don't understand that either and that is one problem between my husband and me. It seems he is so attentive, sweet, gentleman like, and respectful of other people. (work, other family members, etc.) It causes resentment in me especially when he is all these things around other women, but around me he is rude, won't carry on a conversation, won't even pay attention, and he passes gas and burps which I understand is a natural thing but he does it so grotesquely and so loud that it makes me won't to throw up but he admits he wouldn't dare to that in front of the women he works in the office with him b/c it would be quote "disrespectful" yet he will disrespect me? I don't get it. This is causing severe strain in my marriage. I am so tired of being the only one he can't or won't pay attention to or talk to. What can I do about this?

I used to have the same problem with my family. I changed my faith and it seemed like boom just like that they disowned because to them I did a bad thing and turned my back on the church. And once we were so close and I saw a division. even with my parents they didn't treat me the same. But that didn't stop me from continuing on in the path that the Lord chose for me and when I started getting closer to the Lord my family came back around and they also saw a change in me, so that's what helped, your family needs to see a change in you, basically what the Lord wants for you, when you draw closer to Him then the change begins and soon you draw yourself to Him and your family sees that and wants to draw closer to you, believe me it works. And yes I do wish things would go back the way they were any everyone, especially family will accept you, and maybe it does have to happen that way. What I didn't realize is I did put my family before God, and when it was just me and God and I gave him the attention He deserves as well as the praise, things got better and they continue so everyday!!
