The challenge with some people is that they’re too lazy to pray. As a child of GOD, prayer is a compulsory spiritual activity. In the Bible, you will see that JESUS our LORD who is the MASTER HIMSELF prayed always. HE did this to teach us that we should pray always.

Don’t you know that whenever you pray, you’re actually mounting pressure on the adversary? Too often, many wait until the pressure comes to them before they pray.
The reason some Christians go through terrible ordeals in their lives is that they don’t set themselves to pray early enough. You don’t have to wait until the devil meets you on your dinner table before you deal with him.
My dear, you have to counter the devil advances ever before he gets to your doorstep or your dinner table. You do this by praying always.
Remember, a break in prayer is a break in CHRIST JESUS.
Glory to GOD.
Thank You LORD JESUS for reminding us about the importance of prayer.

Amen, I pray to Jesus daily and seek him throughout the day. If I don't pray I know the enemy will use every thing in his arsenal. I think it's more than prayer but also listening. When I pray that he have his way in my life, I start to hear from him more often. Jesus is Lord!

You are going to get adversity even if you do "pray ahead". You can never know when or what is coming. But certainly daily prayer and closeness with God gives one the strength to withstand adversity when it does come.

I just cannot believe that it's always due to lack of prayer the a person goes through a bad time.

Sometimes we have to go through trials in order to see the victory, or no test no testimony. When you have done all you can
do , stand. But, yes to the prayer.

For God has put me in Christ. The enemy has to get through the His blood to reach me. He has delivered me from the powers of darkness. He is my shield. The bible tells me so.

The sacrifice of Christ took the enemy's power away - He did the work so that I can spend my time more enjoying my communion with Him and following the leading of the Spirit.

This I believe and affirm continually in my spirit.

If I go through any trials, I know that either God wants to reveal something about Himself to me, strengthen my faith, or wants to teach me something. The bible tells me that too.

I understand the importance of prayer and intercession, but a break in prayer does not constitute a break in Christ Jesus. Nothing can separate me from His love.
