Don’t be moved by your present circumstances; they are lying vanities. Jonah in the Bible considered everything around him and called them lying vanities. Those adverse circumstances are a lie, so don’t observe them. Just as Jonah did-being to worship GOD and declare your victory even in the midst of that seemingly hopeless situation.

There are still things you need to do to deal with circumstances. You can't ignore it but do what you need to do and trust God that He is in control and there will be an end to it.

Here is one of my favorite Bible passages on this topic. Really, on suffering, because most people think they are suffering when their circumstances don't go the way they think they should!

God is in control!

"Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, [SUP]4 [/SUP]and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, [SUP]5 [/SUP]and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." Romans 5:3-5
