Probably not the best way to get one is online, but then again it is hard to find a mentor, at least that is what I have found in my walk. Paul says follow me as I follow Christ - sometimes an intermediate to model our walk after can be good, especially when we have no real idea how to live the Christian walk. God has always brought wise, Godly people in my life to steer me in the right direction - so look for those live people - at church, a bible study - heck go to an adult bible study on a night of the week - learn what you can from them
That's what I'm here for, dear justin777. For you, and a whole lot of others who are confused and/or frustrated... or who simply are convinced in their hearts that there's gotta be more to Christ than great music and "Praise the Lord" (in our assemblies, Christian assemblies).
It's my life's purpose to be the light of the world, to write down a story that will bring glory to the Creator of all things for generations and generations... and I know I'm gonna make it because I am the master of my fate, I know this story will be a success because the Spirit of the Lord is upon me.
How on earth did I become so confident? That's the answer that mentorship is meant to provide, not in a one-sentence response, but through conversations on topics of all kind... (and hopefully you won't mind that our exchanges take place here in a public space, for the nourishment of other souls who quite possibly don't even know they needed help until they come across our discussions.)
