Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit means to reject Gods salvation.

I've always liked the answer, "If you are really worried that you blasphemed the Holy Spirit, you probably haven't". I feel the same way when I see the atheist online doing the blaspheme challenge. I don't think it is all that "crazy" when you don't know or even believe there's a God. I truly believe you have to KNOW the Holy Spirit to blaspheme it, I just see this act as a childish display confirming their repression of Gods existence. I truly feel if you are that worried about this then you more than likely haven’t committed the unforgivable sin, although I would suggest going to Him in prayer and pouring everything out to Him.

That does seem a reasonable conclusion. If you blaspheme the Holy Spirit He departs. If the Holy Spirit departs then there is no fear.

I would be concerned of she did not experience fear over this incident. It is just a sin incident but to have a tender heart and worry over sin is always good. Many older folks would do well the taste a little fear about how they act sometimes.

you should not curse anyone, but you did not do the thing you are afraid of, because
you know that the holy spirit is good and valuable and holy and you never really
thought or said something different.

Look up "scrupulosity." It is when you are overly worried about everything you say and do. Catholics are often victims of this disorder, because the religion gives them no confidence in the sovereignty of God.

My thought is to confess your sin, and allow God to save you. God wants you to have a relationship with you, and he will hear your prayer.

The Bible says God is just and faithful to forgive EVERY sin you repent of...
It also says He does not forgive blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

Blasphemy of the Spirit is obviously = not repenting. You confessed so God forgives you. No confusion :)

I'm with JimBone. A true blasphemer wouldn't care. The fact that it concerns you says that you haven't.

Hi my dear friend. I have to tell you some good news...You have not committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit because the Bible tells us that the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is to attribute to Satan the works of the Holy Spirit (please read the context of Matthew 12:22-32) The fact that you are worried that you have committed this sin bears witness that you are a son of God. Nevertheless, you have to confess to God your sin of cursing because the Word of God says " Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth " (Eph. 4:29)...... God bless you

Re:

Is this a fear you deal with a lot? As someone with OCD when first getting interested in christanity the fear of commiting the unforgiveable sin was a fear , I often dealt with. If this is something you have dealt with a lot or something that couintines to fear you, you and or your parents may want to look into some sort of ocd/aniexty type of thing. Best of luck.

God Knows your heart and will forgive you. Just simply spend time with him and repent what you did and be still and know he still loves you and is there for you
