I'm very anxious about my smile, I like to smile with my teeth showing but people accuse me of acting silly when I smile like this but I'm not and I'm just smiling normally in my opinion.
what do you think of my smile ?

God Bless

I get told by people to smile ''normally'' when I am smiling normally. it frustrates me a lot and it put's me down emotionally as well as making me feel self conscious.

Well I would do this. I would say, I like my smile and I feel criticized when you say that...I need you to do that differently.

You get to be assertive with how you experience stuff. It's a painful thing for you. Say it. "I don't like it when you do that or say that....it feels like ________

Many thanks for your generous reply. I wasn't fishing for compliments or anything . lol

I just don't understand why when I smile I get told to ''smile normal'' or stop acting silly or something similar to that saying. I just smile like this on every occasion almost and I'ts not my fault if my smile looks silly or UN normal, I see a lot of people smiling whilst showing their teeth so why can't I do the same?

Thanks again and God Bless

I think u have an excellent smile - that being said I wouldn't worry about 'how' u smile or what others think of it. If someone cracks a joke or your having a grand old time with friends just enjoy the moment - the smiles will take care of themselves!

Dude, there's nothing wrong with your smile as far was your mouth and teeth go.
I think what your friends might be referring to without knowing how to analyse it, is that your smile doesn't reach your eyes enough. Your mouth projects warmth through its smile, but your eyes border on saying meh. It's a weird thing to analyse, but for me I know I have to push my cheek bones a little higher to push the muscles around my eyes to get that authentic looking smile; otherwise I just look like I'm doing my standard smile and nod. ("uhh huh uhh huh, that's whatever you were talking about for you")
You have good high cheek bones so this should be a relatively easy thing to learn how to do. If you find it too hard to do with your mouth open at first, try it closed.
I think you'll find the results interesting.

Not sure about you, but I'm a hardline introvert. Some days when I'm all peopled out or just tired in general I don't feel like cracking a smile at all. Only a quiet place with a nice breeze can draw it out of me. But a smile can be as as much a tool as it is a response to enjoyable stimuli, so definitely worth practicing :)

Beauty is within the eye of the beholder. What makes one so attractive is their personality. Rush is right about taking time to admire yourself and your facial expressions. People do it everyday. Take for example these new selfies. They are simply a way to make yourself feel good about how your facial expressions make other people think about how great you look. It takes time to really develop the confidence to take wonderful shots and the best ones are taken when you're not even aware of it. So take every day to look at yourself deep into the mirror and make millions of facial expressions and smiles to find the one that makes you comfortable and use it. The problem really isn't with your smile - it's with how confident you are with yourself. I found that the goofer you make your smiles while your alone looking at yourself, the laugh is the beauty of it.

If I bothers you, practice smiling in the mirror. There are different kinds of smiles. If someone tells you to smile, you may smile with your mouth, but if you really smile because you are happy or because you hear a funny joke, there are these creases that form under your eyes. This picture looks like smiling because someone told you to, rather than the other kind of smile, but it's a small pic, so I can't tell for sure.

I think your smile looks great :)
When I smile it doesn't even look like I'm smiling, but I am. Everyone always tells me "you need to smile" and I tell them "I AM smiling!" LOL So don't worry about what others say. Sometimes they'll say you smile too much and other times they'll say you smile very little.

If it really bothers you, try smiling with your cheeks, instead of just your mouth. That will cause a different look.
