Hi guys, just watch a sermon about were to show God's love. And learned that it can be anywhere, my question is how do I tell God's love to someone I work with or someone I know in public without freaking them out.. and how do I tell them and when is it the right time to show someone God's love. There is this one person that I work with and I do want to share Christ with her but is afraid and don't want to act religious.. anyone has that situation and how do you do it ?

Generally the Holy spirit will prompt you when the timing is right. My advice is to pray about it before going to work and then await your prompting - you will know when the timing is right. Just gently add little bits to an every-day conversation topic and lead into it that way. Await the lady's questions and answer them honestly and gently. I will pray for God to enable you to do this.

This is a great question.....and I think most of us will admit to feeling this way........
First .....I ask God when I should say anything....I ask for the words that He wants me to say....
and out they come....first I live Gods love....I try to represent Christ...by being joyful...and very thankful...people I don't even know come and ask ......how can you always be happy....how are you
always looking at things positively...... Then I just tell them how.....by putting God first...and seeking a personnel relationship with Him.......then usually questions come from them....ask God ....He will give
you all you need to bring His people Home........peace.....good job....jo

ANYTIME is an excellent time to show God's love. :) Take the advice of the other posters here. They've given some good suggestions. :)

Well often our face is a great testimony...and the way Gods love works in me is that I just see folks have a strong sense of compassion and a gentleness toward them...I don't hide my faith, but don't impose it on others either. And like Mad and others have said, if your looking to love, God will give you a chance and open some special doors for you :)

If you have a good relationship with her, your testimony is something that another person cannot deny. From there, you can talk about how God loved you while you were yet a sinner. (Romans 5:8)

A good idea is to soak yourself in Bible verses. Find some good ones about God's love and grace, and about salvation. Memorize them, but don't hit her over the head with them. Just use the parts that God brings to mind.

And there are no right ways to do this. Neither are you responsible for saving her. You are just a witness to the love and glory of God, and God will do the saving, in his time.

The Bible says some plant, some water and some harvest. Just be a willing person and God will use you.

I have found that first make her feel she is valuable by just listening to her talk about herself and anything that interests her. There will come a time when she brings up something she is going through, and you can offer to pray for her.

That might lead into how Christ has always been there for you..........and then off you go!

The Absolutely BEST way to show God's LOVE to others, is for you to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. If a person lives in God's LOVE it will radiate out from the person. Living in God's LOVE, you will have peace that surpasses all understanding, a happiness that all will desire to have.
Someone who desires to be happy, will inquire to the why you are so happy all the time. This is a perfect opportunity to tell them it is Jesus. Then give them your testimony.
If Jesus is in you, it will reflect out of you, if people desire to have what you have, they will ask you about it.

It is written that those who draw close to God, is when God will draw close to them. God will pull at them, and one day when you are around her, she will just ask you about it, or you will have an overwhelming feeling to talk to her about Jesus. The Spirit knows the perfect timing.
Also you need to check your motives? Do you only work with the one person, her? Are there many others around? Why are you wanting to reach out to her with God's Love and not the others who work their as well? Why her? Are your motives Godly or are they something else? If you reach out to only her with God's Love and not to the others, how is that like Jesus? Did He not reach out to ALL, to Everyone. This is something you need to address, why do you want to reach out to her and not to the others?
We as Christians are commanded by Jesus Christ to LOVE ONE ANOTHER, this is NOT to pick and choose who we will give God's Love to, and who we choose not to give God's Love too. We are to LOVE ONE ANOTHER, That is you need to be asking how to show God's LOVE to everyone, not just to one.
Also, she may be wanting to talk to a Christian person, does she know you are a Christian? Do you profess to be a Christian at your work place, Do you wear Christian related stuff, Do you have pictures of Christian stuff in your office, or cubicle, or whatever? Do you have a Bible at your work place? Many lost people would probably want to talk to a a Christian person, the problem is where are they? You can't tell one person from another in the work place. Sad. True Christians are not ashamed of Jesus Christ, and you SHOULD be able to spot them on sight, but not today. NOT this generation. Sad, real sad.
But then again, i might be a little biased. i'm a Jesus Freak. ONLY wear Christian shirts, wear a cross necklace. Pictures of Jesus all over my house, library full of Christian books that i have read, car full of Christian bumper stickers, and the Truck i had previous to the car i have now, had Bible verses that i put on the truck. Cross hanging from mirror, a ring on my right hand that says JESUS, and wedding band on my left. and even though i have been divorced for over 7 years now, people ask me about the ring, or ask if i am married, and i reply, Yes, to Jesus Christ. i have read the entire Bible over 80 times in my life
and much, much, more things because i love Jesus. i love Him so much, i have given Him my life, as He gave me His. Jesus Freak and proud of it, and am not ashamed of who i serve and who my Master is, who my Lord and Savior is. JESUS CHRIST.
So i may be a little biased. like a Mother concerning her own child will be biased.

Anyways the BEST way to show God's Love is to LOVE ONE ANOTHER, for it is written, when you do it unto the least of these, you do it unto ME. When you LOVE others, you LOVE JESUS, when you fail to LOVE others, you FAIL to LOVE Jesus.
