Gottaknowyouarewanted,

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Even if the man's wife had beaten him bloody every day, set him on fire, stole all his money, drew and quartered him and he managed to survive, it would still have been a sin for you to have an affair with him, to contribute to his marriage problems, and have sex with him. If she was abusive, that doesn't mean that what you did wasn't a sin. Her sin doesn't justify your sin. You need to acknowledge it as sin and repent before God.

And you don't need to marry him and here is why:

I'd like to share
Matthew 19
[SUP]8 [/SUP]He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. [SUP]9 [/SUP]And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.”

But you may have to interact with him some. This is his child, and he should be responsible, not only financially, but also to have a relationship with his child and spend time with the child. Does he accept and know for sure that the child is his? Is he suspicious given the fertility issues? Is there a chance the child is not his?

One thing i have learnt about love, is that it does put you in a disposition of holding on to false or extremely unlikely hope. And despite all the good advice here, her love for him will not make a wise decision come so easily, if at all!

Really, i see two people clinging to false/unlikely hope in this situation, him for his wife, and her, for him. He has his heart divided between two women, no matter which one he is with, he will continue to wonder about the other - usually in that situation, he can expect to lose both because no genuine relationship will work with a divided loyalty.

Once a liar and cheater, always a liar and cheater. Save yourself some trouble and run! You will never be happy with this man. If he was a Christian man, he couldn't act this way. Find yourself and your child a good Christian man and stop associating with this man. He will continue to hurt you as long as you allow it. He is NOT a good man.

If he has given his life back to the Lord, he needs to stay where he is at and work on that marriage. You need to move on with the child you had and keep him out of your life. If you have given your life back to the Lord you would both be committing adultery to be together.

Your responsibility at this point is to develop your relationship with the Lord and get His plan for your life, and it would be best for now to not even date somebody. Because of how complicated things have been you need some simplicity in your life for awhile so you can think clearly and hear from the Lord.

I've found that if I'm not happy with situations I'm in, that it's really because of the decisions I've made. Change has to start in me, otherwise the same thing will happen over and over again, and that is insanity. Insanity is doing something over and over again, expecting a different result. I had to start hitting my knees, and asking God to reveal to me what needed changing. I had to start reading the bible, and believing and applying what I was reading, before anything changed. I had to start trusting and relying on God the Father,God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God and His precepts never change. I can trust Him and what He has for me. I pray that you start trusting and relying on God, and what He has for you! There's going to come a day when each and every one of us are going to have to stand before The Lord without anyone else there to help us and give an account. Excuses won't cut it. And trying to blame others won't cut it.

My response is that you Repent, Fast and Pray. Seek GOD'S Face and open to hear and receive what you are to do and remove self meaning your desires and do what GOD says to you. When GOD gives you a Word HE will also give you confirmation. Do not condemn yourself nor allow anyone else to do it to you as well. One Thing you must keep in mind is a union made by GOD last it is what man has done that falls apart.

Blessings! !!!!!!
