Hello all. I am needing prayer to help me with finding a job.

Well not so much the finding part more the actual getting part.

Please can you pray for me so that I can find and get a job.

Something that is right for me. Anything really!

I give thanks to God for all things. Even my unemployment.

But I give thanks to God that His will be done and not mine no matter what happens!

Thanks all, really really appreciate your prayers for me.

I will hopefully, no, I WILL be posting back to let you know that your prayers have worked in a next week or so!

I will. Because whatever we ask for in His name He gives us!

Thanks and God bless you for your prayers.

I have said a prayer for God to lead you to a suitable job. It is good that you give thanks to God despite your circumstances. God bless you too.

IT is refreshing to hear someone praising GOD for the valleys along with the mountaintop experiences we go through. I understand the job situation, as I was unemployed for 27 months. I was beating the pavement daily, hitting the internet and having lots of people praying for my direction. I found it managing a homeless shelter, and I have two college degrees, imagine that, but I am happy and content.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate it that's great. :)

Yes, I know that God gives 1 of 3 answers.

Either yes, no or wait.

Each answer given is the best for us at the time.

Whatever happens, Give God thanks and praise for it all.

God bless you all.

Praying for you to find a job, and soon. And bless you for asking for prayer. This is one way we can all support one another, though separated by great distances.

The current job I have now I had to wait almost a year in unemployment to receive and it has been more of a blessing than I can comprehend. At the beginning it was a picking and packing role, then eventually it included mapping out floor plans in 2D 3D applications and now I'm working in Purchasing Dept. But more than all I've had great chances to be a witness!
I have had great favour thanks to our wonderful Father! May He lead you to the right place! Continue to be thankful in your situation, He knows what's going on :)

Let me kill the suspense. God will give you a job, if that's his plan, after your deadline. His name. His plan.

And this is learned through a long life of thinking as you do, that he'd give me something simply because it sounded like what I needed at that moment. Many many "in two weeks" thoughts have gone through my head, but he always gave me a job when I truly needed it, not when I thought I needed it. And then he gave me no job -- disability -- instead. Same lesson I keep needing to learn throughout my life -- "Trust God, not me."

The prayer works, just not like you're imagining.

Brother I understand where you're coming from. Graduated college last May and had been struggling to find a steady job since. Until last week. A portering job. Cleaning an entire plaza 6 days a week. 30 hours a week. Never thought that'd be one of my first jobs fresh as a graduate. But this is what makes God amazing. The guy that gave me the job is a strong Christian. I haven't seen him the past two days but I can't wait as time goes to start diving into topics of faith with him. I'm praying for you, brother, that God leads you out of your temporary situation and gives you a secure job. His timing is everything.
