Is this weird? lol

Yes, I'm aware that many guys, especially ones my age, will have the urge to have sex. That's not what I'm talking about here. I think this is most common in girls, and it may be weird since I'm a guy, but I really just want to get married and have a family, even though it's def not happening for at least a few more years.

I'm not even sure what I'm asking for here XD I don't really need advice or anything, I just want to know if this is odd or not in a teenage guy. And if it is, is it weird in a good way or bad way? =P

I feel like I have more to say, but I'm done for now lol

I hear you on that one buddy. I can't wait to find a Godly woman and start a family, but it's all in God's time. A Wife is a gift from God and you have to learn to be patient and rely on him before you can support someone else. You have to make sure your the Godly man wants you to be, so take care of working on yourself and just trusting in Him fully. God Bless

I think you should think about taking care of the mistakes already made around the world before you create your own.

Makes me think are you not feeling loved or something. Maybe you can go get 2 full time jobs that still wouldn't be enough to pay rent, utilities and food so you have enough to feed the baby. More less have strength to take care of the baby and wouldn't have money to pay for a sitter.
Then decide to go to college.

I would like to say a few things to this. No you are not weird for thinking this way. However, this may make you a better father because it is something you actually want and not something that "oops" happened. I got married when I was 26 and had my daughter at 29. I was able to bond a remarkable bond with my husband before we had a daughter. This was very important to both of us. I also thought that my pregnancy was going to be a breeze. My daughter was born 3 months early weighing 1# 141/2 oz. at birth. We lived in the hospital for 3 months. This was a true test of our faith in God and with each other. So think about being the best dad possible but remember it is not always such an easy task. May God give you the peace you need to get through life and become a great husband and father.

Well, at least it's normal, I've never heard of guys thinking this way before XD

And dang guys, you don't even have to tell me not to have a baby, much less in such a mean way (I know it wasn't terribly mean, but w/e). I'm not stupid-- I said I didn't plan on it, and it's out of the question atm. I'm definitely getting into college, because I'm on the intelligent end, and I'm going into Computer Science, which I heard is a field of growing demand. I'll do fine =P

Not really. I'm a senior in high school atm, and I already have 31 college hours (And I REALLY hope they transfer from PCCUA to UTD lol). That leaves 3 years for a bachelor's, or 2 years if I go fast-track =P

I'm very good at schoolwork, and since you CHOOSE your specialization in college, I think it'll actually be a lot better than high school, where you have to take some of everything =P My only "weak" point is English (literature, ugggghhh). I'm still above average, but it's sooooo... bleh... Math is better... strait, solid answers XD

I think its awesome that guys are looking forward to have families and wanting God to be in the middle of the whole entire process from finding the right girl to finances to have kids! I think that as long as any women or man of God is following him within his timing he will allow our dreams and hopes to be met. He doesnt just give us the desire to let it not be met. I mean when has the desires of your heart never been met by God??? :)

Nah, I definitely agree. I can't wait to have children. I think it's a deep-seated, biological thing, we want to see our genes continue onward. :p
