This is a song I wrote about the first time I prayed to Jesus. What an experience it was! I had to write a song about this moment to share with everyone.
Jesus Wants Me to Head South
I sit down on my bed with Jesus strokin my head
He's always watchin over me and the children old lord
He's in my room
Oh lord jesus save me from certain doom!
Oh I want to be good
The way god said I should
I'm on my knees
Jesus as been appeased
I wipe away the bad from my mouth
I get up and head south
Jesus looks down on me
I can hardly breathe
Looking up at the all mighty son of god
looking down he gives me a nod
faster and faster my hands clenched
my minds a blur and my body spent
Jesus wants me to head south
in the land of the jungle
Jesus Has come inside of me
I feel saved
It sounds really good on an acoustic guitar.
