The Bible tells us that if one believes on the LORD JESUS CHRIST thou shalt be saved and thy house (Acts 16:30-31). Also in Acts 2:37-38 the Bible teaches us that we will have a pricking in the heart this is what stirs us to desire being a Christian as you are now! :") then the Bible teaches us that we are to Repent/turn away from wickedness towards GOD's way of living and ask for forgiveness. Be Baptized for the remissions of sins and ye shall receive the Gift of the HOLY GHOST.

Sorry you have to inquire to be a Christian in secrecy for I do not condone keeping secrets from parents. What I will suggest in your journey to seek GOD out, Pray and ask GOD to Reveal HIMSELF to you and also Save your father and mother so that you all can enjoy the LOVE of GOD and obtain Salvation. I will be Praying for you all as well.

Be around Christians and obtain as much information as you can. Ask all the questions you have and do not hold back. If you can not have a Bible at home you can download a Bible App on your phone. The important thing is to Pray this will make your Relationship with GOD Very Strong. Be very careful not to take on man's views but GOD's this can be very tricky and confusing, this is why Prayer is very Crucial and studying the Bible. GOD will Reveal to you and give you understanding this is what you hold on to and Trust without wavering. Also you can Pray silently in times when your parents are around GOD hears and knows your circumstance. If you are able to attend a good church that would be great if not ask a friend to show you the scriptures and notes they took during service.

There are some good Biblical movies out as well be very careful for most are not. One I suggest is called The Nativity Story. You can watch on any device that has internet service and view it on YouTube.

GOD BLESS you!!!

Eva, I wonder if it might be dangerous for Ahmed_Shehzad for his parents to find out. Some cultures are very anti-Christian in a way that we Americans just do not have a grasp on.

Ahmed, Please let us know how things go. Praying for you.

God saved me 35 years ago. He led me from darkness to light. He delivered me from alcohol and he has totally changed me as a person.

For you, you have a very difficult journey, but the Holy Spirit will help you. I do think if you come from a Muslim family and you are living with your parents, you need to hide it from them.

But pray for them to come to know Jesus. God is very good, and he can send them dreams of Isa, and they will know the truth, that he is more than just a man.

In the meantime, I believe you need to read the Bible. But read it on-line. Biblegateway.com has many versions in many languages. But erase your search history.

Really, it is ironical that in believing in Jesus, you have to keep this from your parents. You could be on-line looking at pornography or buying drugs. Instead, you have made the most important step anyone can make in this life - to believe in Jesus and repent of your sins.

Please PM me if you want to talk more about believing in Jesus, or how God saved me. My salvation was a total miracle of God.

Praying for you to be safe, and to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

I totally understand your situation. GOD knows and intervenes in Supernatural ways. Your parents do NOT have to know...You and JESUS CHRIST need to converse, share, cry together, love together as you grow closer. The BIBLE is the best source..but I also understand that even that could be used against you in the present situation. You already have many here online who are praying with you NOW...GOD has angels around you and HE knows your heart. I wish you were here so we could touch the screen and pray together, connecting in one accord. I am so proud to call you my BROTHER!

You become a Christian simply by accepting Christ as your Savior and trying to follow his teachings and example. Jesus is your intercessory, you don't need anyone to pronounce you "Christian". Pray to God in Jesus name and let him know that you believe in him. He will accept all who call on his name, repent, and place their faith in him. It is by his Grace and our faith in him that we receive salvation.

I imagine Afghanistan is a dangerous place for Christians, so there's no need to inflict strife within your family. But worshipping a different god at a mosque with your parents would be considered idolatry and hypocritical in Christianity. I imagine your parents would notice your disinterest in Islam, so be careful not to bring harm upon yourself. Having a bible might even be taboo, but you obviously have internet access, so perhaps you can read and study online?

Welcome to the faith.. And remember, you can silently worship and don't need to announce it to everyone. What's in your heart is between you and the Lord.
