I try to stay on the right path and do whats right but, I'm feeling as though I am a failure. I don't have any thing accomplished right now.. I dont have anyone to talk to so I come to social media express my feelings bc I feel as though its someone who is going through the feeling and/or has been that could help me overcome me feeling hopeless..

Everyone feels alone and everyone thinks they're failing at times. Just keep working and plunging forward, accomplishments will come in time. Life isn't a continual going forward experience, there are ups and downs, there are times to struggle and times when your alone. We learn to appreciate good times by going through some tough times; "I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength" (Philippians 4:11-13)

What are you feeling that you are a failure about, you don't have to answer that.

You do what you can and turn the rest over to Christ, lay it at his feet for he cares for you.

YAZ, One thing I have learned is that we can't trust our feelings... but can trust Gods Word. You are not a failure; and if you are 'in Christ' you really don't have to worry about what you accomplish here because He has accomplished all that you need; I am thankful also for social media and cc but you do always have someone to talk to who has been through far more than any of us, and He wants so much for you to talk to Him, He loves you! Think about it... the KING OF KINGS actually wants to hear from us. Song of Solomon 4:7 "You are altogether beautiful, my darling, And there is no blemish in you." This is a sweet reminder of what God thinks of us, the Church, the Bride of Christ. This dearness that He has for us! You cant make Him love you less and you can not do anything to make Him love you more! GBU xx

I don´t know if U are one of those impersonated "characters" I have seen all around internet but, I will give you some time to share, on these lines I will leave here:

1) Your "profile" also shows that ABANDONMENT... I don´t know your reason to feel DEPRESSED (?) along with that feeling of being unachieving. I would subject that, if you like and have time, tell CC how old you are in your profile. If you said: "I´m married" I will set myself apart, becasue I normally avoid sharing with married ladies, but you would get supportive understanding from other CC members.

2) Motives: It looks U came here to leave a tear and go "bye bye"... Well, you are entitled to do that and more. You already expressed that feeling of abandonement and went your ways: "God bless you!" but, if U entered other places that way, U won´t get anything in turn. however you´ve said: "that could help me overcome me feeling hopeless"... try to ELABORATE on those things and, someone, would try to help by interacting with you, here.

3) Next visit? That´s up to you, but you looked very sad and, sadness can be beated, becasue YOU ARE NOT HOPELESS. He there are ppl who could help and, emotionally, would hug you, if needed.

Feelings change with the wind, so never believe what a feeling is saying to you. What I do to overcome these feelings is I have sticky notes upon which I write verses that encourage me. I have these things stuck everywhere, to the point my husband got worried for a while that eventually he wouldn't be able to use the bathroom mirror. Every time I look into the mirror I see Ephesians 2:10 We are God"s Masterpiece!! No matter what I mess up, no matter how bad I feel, I am God's masterpiece, just as I am.......No matter what you mess up or how bad you feel, at this moment, and with every moment after, YOU ARE GOD'S MASTERPIECE!!! If you are enough to be God's MASTERPIECE, the creator of sunrises, sunsets, rainbows, mountains, streams, fall tree colors,flowers, bear cubs, chicks, calves, colts and everything beautiful........... then surely you're enough for your own feelings?
Pretty powerful stuff found right there in the Bible :cool:

Know that you are a child in Christ, and that you are loved always. He cannot possibly love you any more than He already does.
He wants to lift you up. so reach for Him.
Let Him put heaven in your heart.
And realise there is NO condemnation in Jesus Christ.

Sometimes God places you in the valley, and this is a very exciting place to be. This is where you can spend all day with God; learning listening and allowing Him to grow you into his plans for you.
When you are ready He will bring you into new situations, and you will be able to manifest everything you have just been taught, in Jesus name :)

God bless you indeed. That you will always be in fullness, and starting everything from this position of fullness.
Be astonished. Be amazed! Heaven is in your heart. Now let that be, and feel His joy and His delight in you beloved.
You are in a position of favour right now, so enjoy it :)

You have to understand that no one is perfect, and that we all go through ups and downs in some point in our lives because of sin in this world. However, we strive to become like Jesus, though we will never become perfect until we enter heaven, so if you have any goals of perfectionism, you need to let that go. Let it be, and let God transform you to who He wants you to become as you walk and grow with him, not the way you desire to become at this time. God is working each day to change us, to sanctify us and make us holy. He's slowly changing us, but not at the rate you may want, but trust Him for what He has already done in your life, is doing, and will continue to do. All things will work together for your good, and for those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

We also should never compare our lives with others. What matters is that you are abiding in His word and walking in His Spirit, then you will grow at the pace that God wants you to grow. As He teaches you through each life's circumstances and hardships, we learn to overcome them and succeed. He will work in our hearts to cleanse us of any impurities, so that we will be without blemish when we see Him in person.

Right now, you are feeling hopeless, but God has never meant for you to feel that way. You have to overcome this sense of hopelessness, and turn your head to focus on Jesus Christ and what God's words say. As Christians, we have every ounce of reason to be hopeful for. Hopeful towards how God has a relationship with us, and that He is there to listen to us each day. Hopeful to be called His child, and that you will enter eternal salvation and life with Him. Hopeful, that the penalty of our sins has been paid by Jesus Christ, and that as long as we confess our sins, God forgives us, and we can begin anew each day. Hopeful that if we have any troubles, fears, anxiety, and feelings of despair, we can cast our cares upon God to carry our burdens. Oh, we have so much to look forward to in hope and to be hopeful for...

God says He has plans to GIVE YOU HOPE.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.


Hopeful towards God's promises of eternal life, and the things we have prayed for in faith, and that God will answer them.

I'm 59. Failure has become a good friend. Without it, I wouldn't ever learn what I'm not good at and what I'm passionate enough about to keep working at it until I can do it.

As for loneliness? I can't help you there. I wanted to be a lighthouse keeper to make money without ever having to deal with people, so I naturally prefer being alone. (Lighthouses became automated before I grew up killing that plan.) God just had other plans, so I didn't get what I preferred.

There are several ways to deal with 'feelings", "emotions" and "hopelessness". The world would advise taking medications, see a psychologist, try yoga, join a sect, and get a hobby. They provide a temporary "FIX". However, in GOD's eyes, You are unique and special and the perfect candidate for being an heir and joint heir with JESUS CHRIST, His Son. Doing RIGHT is not the answer, outside of having CHRIST as your Savior, living for HIM, worshipping and praising HIM, serving HIM and walking with HIM daily. Get CHRIST...get the Holy Spirit...a winning combo all in your favor. Satan loves playing with our feelings and emotions....and that is where you are right now.....chatting with other depressed, bipolar, destitute people who are also suffering from various emotional issues is NOT your answer....for Misery loves company. What you need is a good shot of old fashioned Holy Spirit power in your life...start speaking positive, uplifting messages, help others, and keep a close relationship with your Creator....takes your mind off your feelings of failure. Who's standard are you trying to live by?
