So last night I watched the Blues Brothers. You know the film right?

There's a scene in it where James Brown plays the church pastor.

And before they all do a song and a dance he prophesies some things about lost souls.

Basically he says that right now on earth there are billions of lost souls just roaming about.

They have no where to go to. They can no longer go to the light they chose to ignore in life.

Its such a simple thing yet so very poignant and true.

For billions of people, it will be too late to go to the divine light that they chose to ignore.

Here is the video for those of you who haven't yet seen it. I'm sure that's nobody!?

Don't ignore that divine light now because it will be too late after death!

Are you saying you believe in ghosts?

Because it's never too late for anyone this side of death to be saved.

I never said ghosts I said souls.

Ghosts and souls are 2 different things?

I'm just saying, I love that whole the whole church got up and sing and dance like that always fun to watch but on a more serious note he's right, you have got to accept that light in this life because when you die, you don't truly die do you, you will pass over to the other side, and have to face judgement.

And all those that didn't accept the light (Jesus) as their personal Lord and Saviour in this life now it will be too late for them then, they will seek to find the light but will not be able to.

Its so simple that even a child can understand it. So simple that you'll fail to understand unless you think like a child too.

Your OP is theologically incorrect. Which doesn't surprise me, considering the source. (The Blues Brothers and James Brown??)

Because you are implying that these "souls" are dead, right? The Bible is quite clear!

"And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment," Hebrews 9:27

No "souls" wandering around, without the light. Just dead!

So, no disembodied souls wandering around. Not billions, not millions, not any! (And isn't a disembodied soul the definition of a ghost??)

By definition, ghosts are the souls of the dead - so they are the same thing.

And you said:

Basically he says that right now on earth there are billions of lost souls just roaming about.

They have no where to go to.
You claim these souls are roaming around "on earth" with "nowhere to go."

Not true. Those who rejected Christ in this life are not now roaming about earth with nowhere to go - they are in Hades awaiting final judgement.
