Yes, you can put that together, but there is a difference in those who are empowered by the whole new paradigm they have in knowing Jesus Christ and being forgiven of sin and having the Holy Spirit dwelling within and never leaving---and the baptism, the full immersion into the Holy Spirit where He brings us further empowerment in order to fulfill His callings and giftings with great ease and success.

The purpose of speaking in tongues is to witness to people who speak a different language than our own, is it not? The Lord is capable of causing any of us to speak in tongues for that purpose. Read the second chapter of Acts.
But if people are “speaking in tongues” to show off they have the Holy Spirit, they are not speaking in tongues at all. They are simply showing off.
I think Paul says it well:
[27] If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn; and let one interpret.
[28] But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silence in church and speak to himself and to God. 1 Cor 14: 27-28 RSV

I have only seen and experienced this a few times. Once was in a small church where the gifts were welcome and was the interpetation given. Twice was when a prophet prayed for me and I had the understanding of what was being spoken and it did come about .... was not anything anyone oher then God knew about. It should ediify,encouraage,build you up or confirm things you have already knew.
Euplemia seems to have been banned along with blondie not sure why. In answer to your question baptism of the Holy Spirit is essencial to having a sustaining peace,assurance of your salvation and an effective ministry here in this life and the ability to work in all the gifts of the Spirit as He wills. I know this much the peace alone I would not trade for anything.

please share some details of the prophecies and what came about... if you can without compromising your anonymity.
when I was growing up in my grandmother's church, oftentimes a prophecy or interpretation of tongues was given that I felt was directed at me... though, looking back, they were kind of general...
like, "you are facing a great obstacle, but the Lord will make a way for you. have peace and be courageous"... did it come true? yes...

thanks for the heads-up about the bannings... in other threads, I've spent hours answering posts from users that were already banned... of course, there's always other people who were reading the thread and may have been helped...
my basic thinking is that a christian's level of peace, success in ministry, and things like that is related to how much they surrender to God, how earnestly they seek to grow the fruit of the spirit, etc.
I grew up pentecostal... I had many experiences there...
I don't think there are two classes of citizens in the body of Christ... baptized and unbaptized... I think people can have tremendous, amazing experiences when they put God "in the driver's seat"...
