Hey! I'm not scurred! *sweating*.... INTO the valley I go... Bible in hand... :p
I know in Isaiah it says to shut up the doors till the fury passes....even though that was about God, one can take the practical advice of closing down and latching the door....

First, in no way do I condone the Islamic faith! It's disgusting to me (literally). I don't care if they are the good ones or the bad ones..wrong is wrong.

But having spent time in the middle east one thing that struck me as "throw back" yet effective ... anyone care to guess?????????

:)
What is throw back?
They care much more about their family, parents, Dutch people throw 'em in a home and rarely visit. They take them in.

A throw back is like they think it's archaic, ancient, backwards thinking, etc.

Throw back = from an older time... many would consider it outdated...

Agreed too that they are more family oriented... and have great respect for their elders...! If nothing else, they keep it "real"...

Lol that's kind of an understatement for America.
Yea even back in the 90's things were decent, but now a days clothing is so provocative it actually demeans a woman so much...to have to dress a certain way to be "accepted or cool" by society is lame....most of the fashion trends are actually pretty stupid....

Look I'm not suggesting president Trump takes executive action on "moral dress" ...

ALL I'm saying is that before long they will just have pasties on... and still have the "what are you looking at" attitude...

It has nothing to do with Muslims being right or wrong. This is a flesh matter. Yes, I don't doubt for a second that it's a real struggle for men to be around women who dress inappropriately. That's the flesh for ya! It's never going to submit to God.

[Romans 8:7 - And so our carnal man is God's enemy because it's controlled by human nature; for it does not obey God's law, and in fact it cannot obey it.]

By the same token, women struggle with the fact that men gawk at women who dress inappropriately, make sexist comments about women, men who blame women for their own fleshly habits, or are addicted to pornography. We are all responsible to answer to God alone. If we lust, it's because we are drawn away by our own human nature.

And it certainly does not help the matter when religious fanatics (men & women both) jump on some frenzied bandwagon and harp in unison like the Pharisaic Fashion Police. *derp* :p

You can't expect the world to change for you. All you can do is change YOU and make the world a better place. That goes for every one of us.

I advise you to look at women through the eyes of Christ Jesus and not acknowledge any females according to the flesh. Start there. :)

Yea or the writing on certain body parts to attract attention there....it's not the kind of thing I would want my gf/wife wearing (if I had one). That only attracts the wrong kind of people/attention....

2 Corinthians 5:16 - From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. :D Problem solved.

Sounds good. Please fwd to every woman in the world....:)

[h=1]2 Corinthians 5:16-21New International Version (NIV)[/h]16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view.
So we Can we agree that women are trying to conform to a worldly point of view and in doing so are leading us into temptation?

Thanks,

A

For myself, it's not so much the dress, I've always been bad with fashion, lol still ain't figured out what matches and what doesn't. I think it's more the attitude and actions.

Pretty much read 1 Corinthians 11, imagine the opposite, and that's American women.

True you've got a point there, I still think fashion contributes to it...but attitude and actions are influenced by society and "train" people to act a certain way to get attention....for instance as an example, a few years ago it was popular to make internet viral videos of people knocking out other random people on the street...what did the media do...they replayed it over and over until other dumb youth decided hey they got on tv for this so I got to do this too..and started knocking more people out (knock out game) so that is my example of how society reinforces negative behavior to attract attention to the person...
