There would certainly be a lot less disappointment in my life if everyone "under promised and over delivered".. But unfortunately, that's seldom the case, I guess its not in peoples nature to under-estimate themselves.

lots of people have the people pleasing sickness. The motivation behind it is good even though it is unhealthy.

I don't make promises and I don't want people making promises to me

I had a lot of promises broken to me when I was growing up and just don't like doing it myself

Just do what you say you will...no fuss no muss :)

and sometimes you just have to say no
