He was a prophet and a great leader and a man of faith....yet Abraham lied and also listened to his wife in the matter of Hagar when the Almighty had already promised him a son .His lust and Sarah's impatience caused major domestic drama. She was a lovely Jewish virgin whose body inspired the lust of a King and yet God used her to deliver His people from annihilation. No..they weren't perfect yet He recognized their worth.Many of us Christians tend to forget that we will mess up that some of us may even backslide into disobedience but we can come back to Him who is the Supreme creator. We may get impatient or fearful or sad but He is our strength and Rock and Salvation.
